Chapter 29

Angelica woke up with a start. 7 months pregnant and still haven't got used to the night terrors, she thought. She lifted her heavy head off of Jacks chest and attempted to roll out of bed, no luck.

"Jack." She patted his chest less than lightly.

"STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP!!!" Jack screamed as he sat strait up.

Angelica looked at him, puzzled. "I just need help getting out of bed, and making breakfast, and everything else." She looked annoyed. "I'm sick and tired of being useless!!!" She glared at her baby bump and poked it. "GO AWAY!!" She yelled at it.

Jack looked at her and chuckled, then helping her out of bed. "It doesn't work that way, love."

"Don't remind me." Angelica grumbled and dressed in her pants and jacks shirt, as she had outgrown all of hers.

She slowly turned her head to Jack, a mischievous look in her eye. "Jack," she purred. "As I recall you asked me to marry you, when shall that happen?" She slyly walked over to him, playing her fingers on his bare chest.

"I did, didn't I" Jack played back, knowing that Angelica wouldn't expect that. "Whenever you want, love. I have no regrets." He hugged her to his chest, putting his chin on her head.

Angelica was disappointed he didn't react by awkwardly making a 'Jack excuse', but satisfied enough with his answer. "Who shall we invite?" She questioned.

"Just me and you, love. No one needs to know, it will be out little ceremony." He said it almost dreamily.

"I like that, Jack." She looked up at him, sparkling eyes through her messy hair. He leaned down to kiss her but was interrupted as the door flew open.

Tia Dalma walked through the door towards Jack. Angelica glared at Tia as she flirtatiously hung on Jack.

Jack gently pushed her off, "Sorry, love. I'm taken." Jack motioned to Angelica, who smiled victoriously.

Tia didn't look defeated or angry, which puzzled Angelica. "Really? I don't remember being at the wedding." Tia grinned maliciously. "Oh Jackie you haven't forgotten have you? You need the votes of the brethren court to get married. It's in the code." She flipped her hair. "I'm afraid that's nearly impossible, not many people like her." Tia glared at Angelica, who glared back.

Jack noticed this and stepped in between them. "Thank you for that information, Tia. We shall get those votes presently." He said, queuing her to leave.

Tia didn't listen to Jack and walked behind him to Angelica. "Did you let yourself go or are you that much of a whore." Tia motioned to Angelica's distended stomach.

Angelica hissed, "I'll have you know that I'm pregnant his child" Angelica said, pointing to Jack, who wasn't there anymore. Angelica sighed. "Classic Jack" she said more to herself.
