"What?" The men asked simutaniously, both equally exasperated as the next.
"She's... she's royal blood." Angelica said in a hushed voice.
"So?" Jack asked. "Sure she is, her father is the governor."
"Yes, and her mother is the queen." Angelica waited for him to get it... nope.
She rolled her eyes. "We stole a princess!" She screamed.
Jack's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "What do we do?!?" He yelled.
"I don't know!" She yelled back.
"Wait, how are you sure?" Jackie butted in.
"Only royal blood can read the map, and she's the only inheritance of the queen here at this port. She died many years ago." She explained.
"My father told me Mother died when I was born." Seraphina gasped.
Jack shivered at remembering the pain he went through when Angelica was in labor and almost didn't survive.
"Sorry bout that, let's change the subject." Jack said in one breath.
"So that's how I know." Angelica gave Jack an 'are you ok' look.
"Why couldn't we have gotten someone random who is royalty?" Jackie asked curiously.
"Well for one, Luxembourg is the closest port, so she is the closest royalty. And second, royalty of any kind on a pirate ship is a death wish of extreme measures!!!" She screamed and went into a fuming rant.
Jack came up behind her and covered her mouth, only muffling her screeches.
"Don't be offended, son, she does this." He told Jackie.
Jackie nodded.
"I guess I can't stay after we follow the map." Seraphina said sadly.
"Of course you can." Jackie took her hands.
"Hate to scare ye, darling, but you can't leave. Once you step off this ship, they'll be all over you asking you questions and forcing you to talk. Then you'll spill and it'll be the guillotine for all of us." He said.
"So I can stay here?" She asked with a bright smile.
"Correction, you have to stay here. And not leave." Jack clarified.
Angelica freed herself from Jack's grasp. "Thank you so much for almost suffocating me." She glared at Jack.
"Any time, love." He teased.
"I'll go get the map." Jackie offered and pulled Serpahina with him.
"It's best to avoid those two before they go at it." He whispered to a giggling Seraphina.
