Jack walked around town with his old friend for several hours before taking him to the dock to see the Pearl.
Jack, of course, dramatically told Nester about all of the battles and history she had been through. Finally he took the man on board.
Jack was anxious for Nester to meet Angelica, and he knew where she would be, his cabin.
Sure enough they walked through the door and found Angelica sitting at Jack's desk, translating a map.
"Angelica, I'm back." Jack walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her neck from behind her, peeking over her shoulder at her work.
"I've almost completely translated the map." Angelica reported, standing from his chair. She turned around and saw Nester, who's mouth was gaping.
"Who is this?" She questioned, looking at Jack, confused.
"Angelica, love. I want you to meet Nester, my old friend from when I was a young lad." Jack explained, practically jumping up and down.
"Well nice to meet you, Nester." Angelica walked around Jack to shake his hand. Nester smiled and grabbed her outstretched hand, but instead of shaking it, he reached it up to his lips and kissed it while giving her a look that made Angelica uncomfortable. It was half hate, half lust.
Jack only saw that he kissed her hand, but thought it was probably a British thing. He still didn't like it. "So what's for dinner, love." Jack interrupted.
"O-oh um, turkey and vegetables." Angelica stuttered, she was grateful for the interruption but still disturbed. "In fact I will go set the table." Angelica quickly left the room.
"You're right she is beautiful." Nester watched the door that Angelica just left through.
"Yea, MY wife is a keeper." Jack stressed the word 'my'. Nester didn't notice.
"Let's go help with dinner." Nester followed the path Angelica took.
"Nest you don't have to do-" Jack protested but he was already out the door. "Fine then." Jack groaned and ran after Nester, not giving him a second alone with Angelica.
