Jackie sat in the cell as bored as could be. Jack and Angelica were asleep in each other's arms in the other corner of the cell. Then the boy hatched an idea.
Quietly and skillfully, the teenager squeezed through the cell bars and snuck up the stairs.

Seraphina sat strait up in bed. Another nightmare. She nearly screamed when she heard a knock at her door.
She sighed and got up to open it, probably to find her father.
She opened the door to find Jackie.
"Ja-" She almost questioned, but the boy covered her mouth and walked in, shutting the door with his foot.
"Sorry." He said after he locked it.
"Why are you here?" She said, not out of fear, but out of the same curious she possessed the previous night.
"I escaped." He grinned.
"Why? We are on the sea, you cannot escape." She giggled.
"Not to escape. To see you." He smiled.
"Why would you want to see me?" She was honestly confused.
"You interest me." He sat on her desk.
"Oh really. Well tell me how I interest you then." She sat on her bed.
"I've never met someone so innocent. I think you're caged and it bothers me, it really does. I want to fix that." He admitted.
"You mean, you want to take me off his ship?" She gasped.
"That's exactly what I mean." He smiled.
She smiled.
"Do you know the best time? When is the captain not here?" He was more alert now.
"At night. You and I, along with your family will have the best chance to escape at night. So now." The 12-year-old girl answered.
"Where is the man with the brig keys?" Jackie stood.
"Here." she tossed him the keys. He winked and ran to get his parents.

----------------------------------------------

Jackie unlocked the door and shook his parents awake.
"You guys! Wake up!" He whispered.
"What are you doing, Jackie?!" His mother gasped.
"Escaping and so are you, come on!" The trio ran to the longboat and the boy signaled to Seraphina to come aswell.
"She is coming with us." He told them as they all got in the boat. Angelica sat on Jack's lap, and Seraphina on Jackie's more awkwardly.
"What's your name, love?" Jack inquired.
"Seraphina." Se answered, putting a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear.
"Yea I'm not going to remember that." He said as he rowed.
The girl giggled as Angelica elbowed Jack.
"How do you two know each other?" Asked Angelica while she eyed the girl skeptically.
"I met her when you two were in the captains quarters." Jackie answered, looking at Seraphina dreamily while she looked out on the water.
"Angelica." Jack scolded her for judging the girl.
Angelica, slowly, took her eyes off of the innocent girl and looked out to see where their longboat was headed. Tortuga, always Tortuga.
