It had been 3 weeks since Angelica left and Jack had begun to worry. He hadn't gotten a letter or anything.

"Gibbs! make way for Spain." Jack demanded. Jack watched as the chubby man ran for the wheel, yelling at the crew along the way. Jack returned to his cabin, he did not want any one to see how worried he was.

Jack walked into Jackie's room and walked over to his room. He leaned over the railing of the crib and smiled at the drooling infant. "We'll find her, boy." He patted his head

"Land ho! Spain!" Jack heard and ran on deck.

What Jack saw disturbed him greatly, the town was charred and in ruins.

"There was a battle captain." One of the crew informed him.

Jack ignored him and ran off the ship to where Angelica's sister's house used to be.

When Jack got there he found nothing more than ashes and burnt remains of what used to be a family home.

"Angelica.." Jack whispered, picking up a black dagger with the initials AT.

Jack ran all over town searching for her. He refused to think she was dead. Jack had searched every ruin, every alley, and every building that hadn't fallen yet. She was nowhere.
