Chapter 110

Jack and Angelica were abruptly woken up by a hard knocking on the door.
"Up and out, Jack!" Yelled Thane through the door.
Angelica groaned and laid back in bed.
"Don't make me come in there, Sparrow." Thane warned.
"Coming!" Jack yelled, but after the five minutes Jack took to go back to sleep, Thane burst in.
Angelica screamed at the sudden loud noise.
"You two have separate rooms for a reason." He glared.
"I was just making sure she was alright with that nasty wound you gave her yesterday." Jack hugged Angelica and glared at Thane.
"The one that was your fault?" Thane spit back.
"Stop!" Angelica cut between them.
Thane gave Jack a smug look.
"What's that look for? I was talking to you." Angelica smirked evilly at Thane, who glared at her and left the room, slamming the door.
"No training today then?" Angelica laughed.
"Two minutes or it's lashes for both of you!" Thane bellowed through the door.
They both groaned and got dressed.
Once in the training room, Thane set Jack on lifting a variety of extremely heavy bars, and Angelica on sparring with a variety of swords, maces, and staffs.
Thane walked over to check on Jack, "Not impressive. You should be able to lift the heaviest one by now." Thane insulted.
Jack glared at him.
"I thought you were strong because of your size, but it must be all the rum." Thane glared and grinned.
Jack attacked him and set the heaviest bar on his neck. "Can you lift it?" He growled.
Thane put a hand on Jack's chest, and he went flying back into the wall with the bar.
Jack slid down the wall and collapsed over.
"What did you do to him now?!" Angelica glared at Thane as she ran to Jack.
"I think I may have broken a few of his ribs." Thane said.
"Well fix it!" She demanded.
"I'm not a miracle worker." Thane spat.
Angelica drug Jack out of the training room and down the hall to his room.
"Are you ok?" She asked as she laid him on his bed.
"Fine." Jack croaked.
Angelica wasn't convinced. Jack would always say he's fine.
Adonis showed up in Jack's room soon after they got there. "What're you doing back from training so early?" He asked.
"Just couldn't stand that smug bastard any longer." Angelica said with hate flying off her tongue.
"Ah. I never liked Thane either." He admitted.
"He broke 3 of Jack's ribs." Angelica cooed over Jack.
"That's not good for our plan. Let me see." He ushered Angelica aside and laid two gentle hands on Jack's chest.
He closed his eyes and concentrated.
Jack felt a warmth in his chest and then the pain was gone.
"I tried my best to mend them, they may not last for long." Adonis inclined his head.
"Thank you." Jack sat up and shook his hand.
"Well it's about time you two see your son. Ready?" Adonis smiled.
"Ready." They both answered in unison. They intertwined their fingers just in case everything went wrong and it was the last time they could do it.
They shared a sweet smile, then came chaos.
