Angelica woke up on Jack's chest and smiled. This is how it is supposed to be, she thought.
"Morning, love." Jack moaned.
"Good morning, Jack." She said.
"Your voice sounds so much better! How do you feel?" He got out of bed to tended to her arm's bandages.
"A lot better than when that awful man was here, thank you." She winced at the thought of him and his horrifying needles.
"Here." Jack handed her water, which she downed in a matter of seconds.
Jack went and rifled through his clothes and found a shirt. He walked over and pulled it over her head.
"I can dress myself." She chuckled.
Jack smirked at her, "I'm just taking care of you while you're injured." He smiled innocently.
"Can I have my pants then?" She pointed to her black leather pants.
"No, that shirt is long enough." He gestured to it, reaching just above her knees.
Angelica rolled her eyes.
"You roll your eyes now, just wait until you see what I can make you wear." He smirked again.
"Oh this'll be fun." She said sarcastically.
"For me." He went over and hugged her tight.
Angelica closed her eyes and breathed him in, happy to have him back.
"Are you hungry?" He asked after a long embrace.
"A little." She answered and gasped as he immediately picked her up and nearly ran to the kitchen.
He started making breakfast as soon as he got her situated in a chair at the table.
Soon the captain came in and stopped in his tracks at the sight of Angelica.
"Why are you still alive?" He said through clenched teeth.
"I am unsatisfied at seeing your liveliness as well." She answered.
"I'll have to get rid of you myself then, I have a strict policy of no sluts on my ship." He pulled a sword and Angelica helplessly closed her eyes and curled up into a ball, but no pain came.
"I wouldn't do that, George." Jack said as he held off the sword with a frying pan.
Angelica quickly got up and moved away from the fight.
She knew Jack couldn't hold him off forever with that useless piece of rusty metal.
She subtly grabbed a large knife and lined her aim up. She had to be sure to miss Jack.
She took a breath and threw the knife hard, then wincing in pain as her severed arm muscles moved to throw the knife.
Oddly enough, it still landed directly in the heart of the captain.
Jack watched, befuddled, as his opponent sank to the ground with a knife stuck in him.
He heard Angelica cheering behind him and suddenly put together what had happened.
"You did it!" He ran to her and hugged her.
She moved to sit on the counter and Jack moved closer.
He kissed her with every apology he had made in his life and she kissed him back with the forgiveness of a lifetime.
"You'll always be mine." Jack told her.
Suddenly Jackie came rushing in.
"Are you alright?" He took note of the dead captain on the floor. "I heard some clashing and clanking."
"Perfectly fine." Angelica smiled at him.
"You're better?" Jackie smiled.
"Good enough." She jumped off the countertop and hugged him.
"Good." He hugged her back and looked over her shoulder at Jack, who was smiling at their moment.
Jack eventually got jealous and joined their hug, making Angelica giggle.
"My two favorite men." Angelica laughed.
