As Angelica and Jack parted from their moment, they were caught by a large Spaniard.
"Hand the cups over." he gestured to the chalices. Angelica held then closer to her body to protect them. The Spanish man grabbed at Angelica, but was too slow and she scurried away. The Spanish man lumbered after him and Jack chuckled at the comical scene. His laughter was interrupted by a sharp pain in his gut. Jack crumbled to the ground as Blackbeard rounded to the front of him.
"Thought I'd let you take my daughter, huh?" Jack looked up at him, shocked by the amount of pain he was in. "It's poison, it'll take about an hour to work and kill you. A slow painful death." the man smirked evilly and went to Angelica who was still running from the man who wanted the chalices. Blackbeard stabbed him and killed him easily, then he tried to turn her away from Jack. Angelica turned her head and noticed Jack on the floor over her shoulder.
"JACK?!?" Angelica screamed and ran over to him, crouching down beside him. "What happened?" She asked, laying his head on her lap.
"Poison.." Jack managed through painful grunts. Angelica's eyes welled up with tears and Jack reached up to touch her cheek. "It's ok Angel." He forced a smile. Angelica leaned down and buried her face in Jacks shirt, making it wet. Blackbeard came and pulled Angelica away, but only a few feet before she elbowed him in the ribs.
"What have you done?!" She screeched, crying. Blackbeard just stared blankly as Angelica ran back to Jack's side. Sighing, he left them to find the chalices, little did he now that in all the confusion they had been lost in the moat around the fountain, sinking to a depth only mermaids would dare dive. "Jack..." Angelica stared down at the floor.
"Angelica, no." Jack stopped her, "it's ok." He smiled up at her.
"But jack I need you to know-" Jack cut her off again,
"Angelica, I love you too. I know you love me you don't have to say it." He reached for her head to pull her down to kiss him.
"Jack." she said more sternly this time. Jack stopped pulling and looked at her. "I'm..... I'm pregnant."
