Adonis came to get the two after their first day of training, but only found Jack.
"Where's Angelica?" He asked.
"Infirmary." Jack pushed past him.
"What happened?" Adonis gasped.
"She got lashed." Jack answered plainly.
"What did she do?" Adonis asked.
"Tried to protect me." Jack said, irritated at his questioning.
"What did you do?" Adonis asked, less concerned now.
"You don't need to know." Jack growled and stormed off.
"Where are you going? You don't know where the infirmary is." Adonis said smugly.
Jack rolled his eyes and followed Adonis down the hall through a heavy set of doors.
He found Angelica in a bed with a nurse by her side.
The nurse scurried away at Jack's presence.
"Hey, Jack." Angelica greeted and scooted to the side of the bed, hanging her legs over to hug him.
"You look pretty good in a hospital dress," Jack joked making Angelica laugh. "Does it hurt?" Jack asked with concern showing in his eyes.
"A little. The nurse numbed it." She told him.
"I'm sorry. This is my fault." He hugged her, careful to avoid her cut.
"Jack, it's not that big of a deal." Angelica waved it off.
"I never want to be responsible for you getting hurt. It is a big deal." He smiled.
"Well then I forgive you." She chuckled.
"Are you allowed to leave?" Jack whispered.
"No, but I think I can sneak out tonight." She whispered back she giggled.
Jack smirked at her.

Jack waited in his room for Angelica. He almost thought that she was caught when he heard a knock at the door.
"Well hello there." Jack leaned against the door frame seductively.
"Told you I could do it." Angelica said with a look of pride on her face. She was still in her hospital gown which was just a large shirt that went down to her knees all around.
"I never doubted you." Jack laughed as she walked under his arm through the door.
Angelica looked at him with a look of really?
Jack hugged her. "Thank you for being so stubborn and making them take you with me."
Angelica laughed. "You couldn't stop me."
"I know." He smiled. "So.. seeing as it's so late, it would be dangerous for a lady like you to walk all the way home at this hour." He said mischievously.
"All the way across the hall? So many possible threats." She gasped sarcastically.
"I'm afraid I have no choice but to keep you here with me tonight." Jack picked her up and carried her to bed.
"Is that right?" She smirked and kissed him.
Jack kissed her back and when he heard a knock at his door, he threw the sheets over them.
Angelica didn't mind. She didn't care who wanted what, as long as she was with Jack everything was fine.
Angelica had Jack's shirt off by the time the knocking became more rapid and finally the door just opened.
Both Jack and Angelica fell still and Jack signaled to her to be silent.
"Jack?" Adonis whispered.
"Yea?" Jack said from under the covers.
Adonis shut the door and walked over to the bed.
"We need to talk. I need to talk to Angelica too but she's not in her cabin. She's probably in the infirmary still but the doors are locked." He said. "Why are you under there?" Adonis asked and pulled the covers back, making Angelica awkwardly smile.
"Heeeey." She drew out a long awkward greeting.
Adonis stumbled back and blushed.
"Relax. Now what do you need to talk to us about?" Jack sat up in bed and put an arm around Angelica.
"Tia Dalma has expressed her interest in getting you out of here. Your son has spoken to her." He started. "She has persuaded me to help, tomorrow night I will come to your cabin and help you escape, get plenty of sleep. You'll need it." He nodded and left.
Angelica formed a big grin and hugged Jack excitedly. "We're going home!"
Jack hugged her back and laid back in bed. Angelica snuggled into him and laid her head on his chest as his arm snaked under her and rested on her hip.
"Yes we are, love." He smiled to himself. Yes we are.
