Jack jack tried to get her out of bed, but she just pulled the covers back over her head.

"Oh come on, love, tell Jackie what's wrong." Jack tried to make her smile at least. When that failed he got under the covers and put an arm around her. She turned away from him, making jack frown. "did I do something?" Jack asked.

"It's not you, Jack." She muffled through the covers. Jack leaned closer to her.

"Then what is it, love?" He asked in a warm, soothing voice. He heard Angelica sigh and she surfaced from the covers to lean against Jack.

"That man had a family Jack. I knew him, he had children. How are children supposed to grow up when their father is a pirate." Jack moved her so that she was in his lap.

"Why are you so worried about that man?" jack asked, and then regretted it.

"Do you care about anyone but yourself Jack?" her voice held anger. Jack sighed,

"Sorry, love. Why are you so bothered by this though. You are a pirate, you kill people. Why does this mans death bother you?" Jack asked playing with her hair.

"It's not his death that bothers me. It's what he left behind." Angelica said, further leaning into Jack. Jack felt an unexpected sadness at her words. "Jack, why did you blame him?" She continued, making Jack feel worse.

"He was the first person I saw." Jack said honestly.

"You should think before you frame someone of your murder acts." She scolded.

"What is it with you and his children?!?" Jack asked annoyed.

"It's not just his. Wouldn't you feel bad for any small child growing up in this horrible world?" She asked with sadness.

"Love, eat some chocolate." He said dryly earning an elbow to the ribs. "Ow! ok so it's not hormones."

"No it's not hormones, capitán idiota, it's just a sad time. If you're a child you'd probably die when the pirates raid the towns, and if you're a mother you'd probably die giving birth. Think what you want but I'm not happy with the life I'm living in." She said plainly and tried to get up, but Jack pulled her back on his lap and hugged her to him.

"I'm sorry, love." Said jack, still not understanding what her deal was with children.
