CHAPTER 60

"Oh, this is Victor. His a lifeguard here" I say standing next to Vally who puts his arms around my waist. He is marking his territory.

"I can see that his a Fucking lifeguard. What do you want with my girlfriend?" Vally says in a angry way. He better control his jealousy cause I was just having fun while he was nowhere to be found.

"Oh no, I called him here to ask him about how deep is the water and where can we swim until" I lie. I can see Victor get scared from the look Vally is giving him.

"Mmm, he better. I'll be sitting here. You can go swim" Vally says putting down his own oak folding mini sand chair and taking a seat while drinking his cola and watching me. I take of with Victor who doesn't want to talk to me.

"It's okay calm down. He won't hurt you or anything.. He can be very overprotective but trust me his very kind" I tell Victor who looks back at Vally and then at me. It's like he has lost his voice.

"He really loves you.." Victor says when we reach the beach waters. The water on my bare toes feel so relaxing and calming. I take a deep breath and look at the sun.

"Yeah" I say and blush.
"Why didn't you tell me you got a boyfriend?" Victor asks me and I laugh at him. Why does he fear Vally so much. He does look scary when his upset but he has the most beautiful heart ever. He is an angel honestly.

"We'll, you never asked. Plus it was nice talking to you" I say and Victor blushes. He has a dimple on his one cheek and it's really cute. If I hadn't met Vally I would surely love to go out with him.

"Thank God I didn't. His still looking here" Victor says and I shake my head. I turn around and find Vally looking in our direction with a pissed off face still.

I gesture for him to come over but he refuses. "If you calling him I better leave. It was nice meeting you brittne....." Victor says running to where his other mates are.

"It was a pleasure meeting you hope we meet again sometime" I say and he just laughs while running. I sit down on the soft smooth sand and pick up the little shell. I want to swim but then I'm scared of drowning. What if the waters wash me away instead of my problems.

I look over to my left side and see a beautiful family with three teenage boys and one young  girl. They all sharing some ice cream and are having a great time. I smile remembering how we had family gatherings in the backyard. All my uncle's and aunties would bring along my cousins and we would play games together. But it was all a lie.

"Boo" Vally says shocking me. I wipe my tear and smile at him. "You finally came" I say and watch as he sits down next to me. His legs are so long that they touch the water.

"I seen how these Fucking perverts are looking at you so I had to show them that you my cake are taken" he says peaking my nose. I see he is jealous of the other guys admiring me. I look at him and he wiggles his eyebrows playfully.

I stand up and go inside the water. "Cake, don't drown" he says and I start laughing. The water is so cold on my skin that I moan and Vally laughs at me.

"It's really cold" I say to cover up my embarrassment. He stands up and joins me inside the water.

"Oh, fuck. It really is cold" he says laughing and putting his hands around my waist. I look at vabri who is sitting on my chair and is licking his little paws. "It's so calming..but not like when I'm inside you" he whispers and I hit his chest. He hasn't taken off his top and with the water it's sticking on him.

"You always thinking dirty" I say. I then turn around and start swimming. The moment the water touches my face I feel so alive. My thoughts all get cleared and it's like I must just not come out.

"Oh, that felt so refreshing" I say when I come out. I take deep breaths as I stayed in the water for so long. I dive back into the water once again and keep on swimming. I think I've found my therapy. After swimming I come out and go back to our spot. I cover myself with a towel and my eyes search for Vally.

I find him at the mini bar drinking some smoothies and the funny part about it all is his seated next to Victor. He has no top on and there is a group of girls busy giggling for him.
Now I'm Jealous. Those bitches better get a grip cause I'm the owner of all that they drooling for.

I walk over to the bar and go to Vally. "We better get going. I'm hungry" I put my hands on his waist hugging him from behind and kissing his ear.

"Sure, cake. Let's go" he says standing up. We then walk back to the spot and I make sure to give those girls a mean smile even if it meant getting those dirty looks. He takes the chairs and I pick up vabri and my backpack. We walk back to the car and he packs every thing.

"It was nice to finally have some fun outside" I say while he drives.

"Yeah, we should do it more often..." He says parking the car in the garage. I am feeling very cold and this towel is not helping. I just can't wait to cuddle up in bed. He orders pizza which gets delivered five minutes later.

"I'm going to bed" I say after eating my share of pizza and kissing him goodnight before going to the bedroom.

"Morning" I tell Vally who just opened his eyes. I woke up early cause my skin felt itchy throughout the night maybe cause I never took a shower after swimming in that salty water yesterday. After my shower I just couldn't sleep again so I decided to help around.

I finish clean the house and made breakfast. "Hey, cake" he says stretching his long arms. He gets out of bed and comes to hug me.

"How you feeling today?" He asks me. I am actually feeling much better and I haven't been thinking alot about my situation. I feel like the water yesterday had washed away my problems for me. It's like I had left them there and came out a different person.

"Much better. Breakfast is ready" I say and feel Vabri play with my toes. I get on my knees and start patting his fur like I always do. Poor boy was taken away from his mother just like me. I didn't know we have a lot in common and that's why it wasn't hard for us to actually bond. I promise to always give him the love he needs.

I go to the lounge as Vally finish had breakfast and is taking a shower. Vabri is laying on my lap and we both watching a movie. "Cake, it's Natalie" Vally comes out of the room with my phone in his hands.

"Should I answer?" I ask him. What if she wants to curse at me or tell me to leave her alone for good.

"Answer it" he says and I take the phone and answer it.

"Hi" I say and I feel my heart beat faster.
"Hello, I was wondering If you could come over so we can talk about everything?" She says and I swallow. I'm sure her mother already poisoned her mind and made her believe that I am the cause of everything even father's death. I hate that woman.

"Sure, I'll be there in a few minutes" I say getting up. I hang up and close my eyes while taking a deep breath.

"What happened?" He asks me. I open my eyes and look at him. Before I could say anything I find myself in his arms.

"She said I should come over" I tell him. He rubs my back and gives me a kiss on my head that cools my fast beating heart.

"It's going to be okay. Lemme dress and I'll go drop you off" he says and only then do I realise that his only in a towel that's wrapped around his waist showing his V line. Gosh, why does he have to be so good looking.

I put on some fast shoes and sit on the couch waiting for him. "Ready" he says and I stand up taking with me the envelope just in case her mother wants to bark at me for no reason.

He drives me to the house and the moment I step out he drives off. I see the same truck that was parked the other day outside the yard and I think that's why he doesn't want to visit his sister cause her sperm donor is around.

I knock and wait for someone to open. "Hey, come in" Natalie says. Her eyes have bags underneath them and she has lost weight a little. Even her energy has all been drained out of her.

"Would you like anything?" She asks me and I shake my head no.
