"We were just talking about business" Kristen says punching Vally by the arm in a playful way. He just nods and takes my bags for me to the car.
"Take care. And think about this.. I'll support you all the way" she whispers in my ears while hugging me. I just nod and we go our separate ways.
"What was that about?" Vally asks heating the engine.
"What?" I ask him. "The hugging and laughing" he mocks us by pretending to go on like us and I laugh at his fail attempt.
"We always been close. I don't know why it's new to you that I hug her.. I even kiss her sometimes" I say and he looks at me with disgust which makes me laugh more.
"Eww, I've been wondering why you go to work with no lipstick and come back with lipstick" he says driving and we both laugh. Our laugh is disturbed by the beeping of his phone. He checks the message and sigh.
"What's wrong?" I ask him. He scratches his head and shakes his head.
"Lorraine, she wants us to meet at the hospital" he tells me and I look at him. He looks uncomfortable about this. It looks like he doesn't care yet Lorraine is trying her best.
"You can drop me off then go. I don't mind being at home alone.... Just promise to keep calm and work things out" I hold his arm. He looks at me and smiles.
"I don't know what I would do without you" he says.
"I'll see you" he says parking outside our apartment. I kiss him on the cheek and step out. I wave goodbye before he leaves and watch as the car disappears.
Finally entering the house I throw myself on the couch. "What a day?" I say. What a day it has been indeed. All the tension, drama, arguments are enough. Now some peace of mind.
I go to the bathroom and fill the bathtub with water and some liquids that smell really good. I undress and light some candles. I then put a speaker with some light music to lift the mood.
Finally, some strawberries for a snack. Soaking myself inside the water I give out a sigh of relaxation and enjoy my bliss.

"Hey, relax its me" Vally says when I open my eyes. I look at him and then myself. I must have passed out in the bathtub.
"It's much rather late, if you wanna know" he says passing me a towel. I take it and wait for him to turn as he'll probably notice my tummy.
"That's not what I think it is?" He asks looking me up and down.
"What?" I ask confused and full of fear. Did he feel my stomach while I was asleep. Did he maybe notice that my stomach is different from any other day. How careless could I have been.
He comes closer rubbing his hands together. "You being shy in front of me" He smirks and I calm down. I stand up and cover myself quickly ignoring his whistle and lustful look.
"I'm just feeling hungry" I yawn and walk out of the bathroom to the bedroom. I dress into my pyjamas and put my hair in a messy bun.
The door opens and in comes Vally. "I got us Chinese on my way back. I knew you'd be hungry..since You turning into a monster everyday" he teases me.
"Thank you. I'll go prepare it for us" I give him a side hug before walking out.
I put the noodles into the microwave to warm it up. "I hope you feeling Chinese today" I say rubbing my tummy and feeling some kind of feeling. Some motherly love. A special connection.
"What you think of black or navy blue?" He comes out wearing shorts and a vest while scrolling through his phone. I put our bowls on the table and take a seat.
