CHAPTER 86

"I'm going downstairs to play with Vabri" Damien says picking Vabri up. I just nod and he runs out.

After breakfast I washed all the dishes and since I had nothing else to do I started to clean up even though the house is clean. When I get done I take some ice cream and binge on the couch with some tissue and a sad movie.

The door bell rings and I get up to go get it. I hope whoever it is is worth it cause I'm in no mood for any human being. I open the door to find Kevin standing there with his hands in his pocket.

"Hi. I just came to check up on you" he says with a welcoming smile. I wipe my tears and gesture for him to enter of which he does.

"Have you been crying?" He asks looking at the half tissue box on the couch.

"I just can't help it" I say trying so hard to not let another tear shed.

"Look I know how hard it must be for you but don't get so worked up over a guy that won't will never change. Its not worth it" he says sitting down on the couch. I stand there looking at him with my arms crossed.

"I loved that man more then you think. More then I've ever loved okay" I say blinking repeatedly as the tears are making my eyesight blur. He was also one of my lovers but the love I have for Vally is unconditional.

"Okay okay. I get it. You love him but hopefully you'll get over him and realise what's best for you" he says standing up and hugs me. He maybe is right but I don't want to love anyone else except him. He is the one that was destined for me.

"Brittney" Kristen comes in the house with Damien by her side.

"Brittney are you  Okay?" Damien asks putting down Vabri. I break the hug and wipe my tears.

"Yes, honey. I'm fine" I say. He then looks at me not believing me but chooses to walk away to his room instead of asking.

"What do you want here?" Kristen asks Kevin.

"Will you ever leave me alone" he says giving her a dirty look. She just clicks her tongue and walks over to me giving me a big warm teddy bear hug.

"His gone" I say while she whispers sorry in my ears.

"It all just doesn't make sense yet it's all true. Kristen I hate myself for loving him" I say when she breaks the hug and looks at me. She wipes my tears with her hands.

"Baby, the love was real. Don't hate yourself" she says still wiping my tears that don't seem to stop.

"Sit down okay" she says and we both sit down.

"I'll order some Chinese food" Kevin says feeling left out and  leaving the two of us alone. Kristen watches as he leaves and turns to me.

"Do you trust him?" She asks.

"He is the only one that's here for me so far including you of course. But Natalie won't talk to me. She cut me out of her life" I say. Well he has been with me after everything. He chose to stay with me and look after me.

Kristen is obviously the one that cares the most but it's all just innocent nothing more. "If I were you I'd be careful though. Who knows what he wants" she says and I look at her.

Is she here to support me as a friend or to judge me. "I'm an adult I sure know who to befriend and who not to" I say looking at her. She just shrugs her shoulder and rubs my back since I got hiccups.

"Here we go. I'll dish up for you'll" Kevin comes inside the house minutes later with the takeaway bag from the Chinese store. He goes to the kitchen and does whatever it is his doing.
