Days went by and I can't believe it's thanksgiving and also Lorraine's bridal shower already. "Where's your bra, Brittney?" Vally shouts from the bathroom.
We woke up exactly five minutes earlier then we've ever had and so far nothing seems to be going our way.
"I found it. Just help me clip it" I say putting it on. He comes out with untied buttons and a toothbrush in his mouth.
I feel his cold hands against my back and I take a deep breath. "We need to hurry or else we'll be late" I say putting on my makeup while he kisses my neck.
I know this will end in us doing hilarious things so I push him back and open the closet. My eyes scan for the dress I just bought. A navy blue swing dress.

I got a long one cause I didn't want my stomach to show alot. Yes, there is a cute little bump. Today is all about good news. I have decided after thinking long and hard that Vally deserves the truth.
I wanted to break it off at the party but then I don't want to be selfish and steal Lorraine's spotlight.
So what I'm going to do is set up a dinner tonight and let him know then. I feel sorry for leaving him in the dark. It's his child also. And he has every right to know.
"I can't wait to see you in that dress" Vally startle me and I jump a little. I look at him and realise that I've been standing and staring at the dress.
I smile and take it out of the closet. "Now if you'll give me some space" I say smirking. He chuckles and leaves the room closing the door behind him.
I manage to put on the dress myself which was a big struggle. The door opens and in comes a freshly baked Vally. His hair is all curly but neat. His buttons are all tied up except of course the top one.
His face as handsome as always. His just perfect. "Wow, you look wonderful" Vally says holding my hand as I twirl around.
"You don't look bad either" I say kissing him. After that I curl my hair and finish off my look.
"Okay, we better get going. I don't want to be late for my sister's brutal shower" he says and I hit him while we both laugh.
Just when I thought he was happy about this he had to say something bad. "Oh wow, look how you two look" our neighbour says coming out of her house the moment we leave ours.
"Jake come see" she calls her husband.
"Don't they remind you of us on our prom. We shook the whole world" she says smiling and holds my hand.
"Oh, my Angelique you were the most beautiful girl in the hall" he says and me and Vally look down while blushing. I hope one day it will be him and I telling the youth including our baby about our dates together.
"I'm sure she was" I say and she makes a cute face.
"You guys have an amazing thanksgiving. May God bless you'll" her husband says holding her hand. We wave goodbye and go to the garage.
"That was awkward but at the same time cute" I slide in the passenger seat. Lorraine's gift is already in the car which is one less problem.
"Yeah, yeah, old love" he says starting the car. I know somewhere in his heart he does find it cute. It's something both of our parents never shared.
But I'm glad I got someone else to grow old with my mother while his remains the same. "It's going to be fine" I kiss his hand and he just nods.
My phone beeps and it's a message from my mother. "Moms wishing you a happy thanksgiving" I say smiling at him. They haven't got back from Italy.
