Chapter 35
The twins were only a few weeks old when Melody had to go back to school. Medical school was going to be trying, along with Luna duties and going back to music lessons. Her life was going to be hectic. Today she had music lessons. "Melody, the music teacher is here."
"Okay, Papa Charley. Can you watch the babies later? I have to attend a Luna meeting at six thirty. Nanny Harriet, has to go to her son's wedding."
"You know you have training in the morning with me. You are not skipping it."
"I wouldn't think of it. I need to defend myself and my pups if anyone wants to take them or me."
"I am glad to hear that. Anthony called me he wanted you to call him when you have time."
"That is silly. He should of just called me."
"He was hoping you were resting and didn't want to wake you."
"I'll call him now." She dialed him right away. "Anthony, you should of called me instead of pestering Papa Charley."
"I didn't want to wake you or the twins. I cleared my schedule so I can help train you tomorrow."
"I'll tell Papa Charley so he can take a break and go fishing. I love you, see you tonight." The teacher was standing there waiting for the call to end. "Sorry, about that. We can go downstairs if you're ready."
"This has been a good lesson. You are getting so much better with the clarinet. The sounds are beginning to show emotions and clarity."
"It is all your patients with me that has gotten me this far." The teacher waved her off and left. "Papa Charley, Anthony cleared his schedule so he could train me tomorrow."
"Nope not happening. Every time he helps you, training is cut short and the two of you end up in your bedroom. You tell him I said no."
"You are no fun." Melody complained as she went upstairs to a crying Wyatt. She called Anthony once her little man was asleep. "Papa Charley said you can't train with me tomorrow."
"Why? I like training with you."
"He said we never train and are always in our room."
"He forgets how it is being young. The old fart." Anthony was so disappointed.
"I have to tell you, getting a nanny has been a blessing. Whenever I have to go to meetings it is nice to have the extra pair of hands. There is a meeting tonight, we should finish the last of the plans for the new wing at the school."
"What time will you be done? I might be able to meet you."
"I will be done around eight. Tonight, the nanny has a wedding, so Papa Charley is watching the pups."
"I will try and leave now to help him out."
"I better get going, love you, talk to you when I get home."
The following week there was another meeting. "Luna, I have the twins dressed and getting them a bottle made up."
"I packed their bag, take it down with you while you get their bottles, I will bring them downstairs." Melody tickled their little bellies. "All ready, come on my little angels."
The meeting is in one of the conference rooms at the pack house. "Luna, you have the pups with you, we missed them last week. The pack loves that you bring them along wherever you go. We are getting to know them, and they are getting to know us."
"They love the attention pack members give them, see their smiles. Interacting with all of you allows them to see how big their family is."
"They have grown so much in the last few weeks." Bethanie says as she picks one of them up. "I can't wait until I find my mate and have pups of my own.
