A few minutes later Anthony comes down the step, he takes a deep breath before confronting everyone. "We are trying to keep this a secret. It's bad enough that the asshole Alpha is looking for her, if anyone finds out her gift the whole werewolf community would be after her."

"So, she is gifted with healing powers." Laurie says in a whisper.

"Her wolf is light silver and glows, you saw she can heal. As you can see your daughter is fine.

Kody steps forward, "She saved my life when my heart stopped working. I have always had a bad valve they couldn't fix. She fixed it."

Anthony continues, "Melody is trying to become a doctor so she can use her gift without anyone knowing it. You need to make sure that no one knows about this."

Frank looks at him, "Like you said she's gifted in more ways than I knew." Turning to Laurie he takes hold of her hands, "What would you think if we moved to this pack? Help protect Melody and watch our grand pups grow."

"You would leave your pack and come here for her?"

"She saved our daughter's life and gave her back to us. She has the capability to save so many lives, we owe her our protection and love."

Laurie looks at the other men in the room, "Would you want us?"

"I can't picture anything that would make Melody or me happier."

"I never pushed her to tell me what happened that brought her here. It seemed to upset her. Was her father that cruel to her and why is it you don't want Drew to know where she is? I would of thought the way he fought to keep her he loved her."

Charley scuffed he didn't love her. From what I can tell he kept her to hurt you. When he no longer could hurt you he hurt her instead."

Charley don't go there, Melody doesn't like talking about it or telling others it is her past, we should honor her wishes."

"This is different Anthony she is her mother and it was not right what they did to her."

"It was that bad that you are arguing over telling me. I deserve to know what happened to her."

"Your ex-husband through her in a basement to live. She worked for her food and clothes in between his beating her. He had your son, her brother do the same thing. There is a file in Anthony's office with a record of all the things he did to put her in the hospital. "

Charley that is enough let it go." Anthony turns to Laurie. "Charley can't stand them for what they did, he shouldn't of said it like that. It wasn't your fault it was his fault. As for Drew he was her mate he lied to her and then wanted to make her his mistress and breed for him and his chosen Luna. If she didn't then they were putting her in a dungeon and making her do it."

"He was her mate and did this to her. No one helped her." Laurie was on the verge of breaking down. Frank pulled her into his arms. "I never knew it was that bad for her. She must of hated me."

Charley realizing what he did felt like shit. "She didn't hate you at all. There is a song you taught her lean on me. She said it kept her from losing it. And your love of music drove her to do what she is doing."

Cameron cleared his voice. "This is why she doesn't want to talk about it. Nothing can change the past, now we look to the future with is you coming her to be with her and your grand pups. We need to get you a house.

Kody also wanting to lighten things got an idea and jumped up from his seat, "I got the perfect house for you. It's right over there," They walk to the window to see what he is pointing at. "It's right across the street."

"Don't tell Melody, when we leave to go home, we will pull in the driveway and she will find out then."

"I like that idea, Laurie." Charley is all smiles.

Cameron, Anthony and Frank go to the office in the pack house to call the Alpha of Frank's pack to ask permission to leave and join Anthony's pack. Leaving Kody, Branden, and Charley to look after Melody.

After resting Melody came down and had dinner with the rest of them. "How did you make out with your classes baby?"

"I'm sorry with everything going on I forgot to talk to you about it. They are working with me and it will all turn out just perfect."

The rest of the two weeks were busy and flew by. "We have to go home tomorrow, Baby girl."

"I know mom, we have the phone until you can come back, or we get to go there."

That morning, they are getting ready to leave, saying goodbye. "Mom, I am so glad you came, and we found each other. Drive safe, call me when you get home."

When Frank backs out of the driveway and starts down the road, Melody sees his brake lights turn on, she starts to think he forgot something. Then he pulls in the driveway on the opposite side of the street, he is turning around to come back. Her eyes get wide as the car stops, shuts off, and they get out.

Laurie yells across to her, "We're home!"

"You're staying here with me?" The tears get even worse. Turning to Anthony, "You did this for me?"

"It was your mom's and Frank's choice. They didn't want to leave you. They love you too." Anthony says as he picks her up and spins her around. "Now let's go see your mom's new house."

"Do you like our surprise?"

"I couldn't ask for anything better mom."

We haven't moved in yet. Our furniture is at the gate we are going to be busy for a few hours, unloading and arranging things. If you want, you can just sit and watch."

"I will be in the way why don't I go home and bring my little sister to the house and keep her out of the way."

"That would be a big help." They give each other a hug and Melody leaves taking Carly who is talking her ears off.
