Chapter 57

Bonnie finally pulls up in her car. The guards have stopped her at the gate. Micheal sees her but is not close enough to hear anything. "I have to get closer so I can hear what they are saying." He low crawls hiding behind the brush and trees, until he is close enough, he can hear what the guards are saying. Micheal thinks to himself, these guys are so stupid, you never leave underbrush near your entrance. I have been doing this for the last two weeks and they don't even know I am here. If this is how they protect their pack, we are going to get in and out with our prizes. They will never know what happened until it is too late.

Bonnie smiles and tells them, "I've come to see Melody. Will you please tell her that Bonnie is here?"

"Wait here please." He mind links Melody. "Luna there is a woman at the gate that wishes to speak to you.

"Did she give you a name? What does she look like?"

"Yes Luna her name it Bonnie. She is a little thing abut your size with dirty blond hair and pretty blue eyes."

Melody raises her eyebrow, that has to be my Bonnie only she would get a man to fall for her that fast. "I will be right down. Have her wait."

Five minutes later Melody comes out the gate with Papa Charley, along with an extra few guards.

Bonnie sees Melody and starts running to her, "Melody, I've missed you so much." Papa Charley steps in front of Melody and won't let Bonnie touch her.

Melody puts her hand on his shoulder, "Papa Charley, it's ok. This is Bonnie, my best friend for life." Then squeezes passed him to hug Bonnie. "I've missed you too. How did you find me?"

"That idiot Drew sent me here. He thinks I'm going to bring you back to the pack." Melody gives her a strange look, Bonnie Laughs, "I hope you got pull here, because I want to stay here with you. I should have gone with you when you ran. I never should have let you go on your own." Bonnie's laughter turns to tears, Melody hugs her tighter.

"Let's go to the house. We can talk. Let the guards drive your car, you can ride with me."

"The fucken idiots I knew she wouldn't help them she hates us, only reason she stayed at the pack was for Melody."

Michael crawls and hinds until he is clear of the guards. He needs to get cleaned up and call his stupid son. "Eric, I want to talk to the alpha and you."

"He is in his office I am heading there right now." He knocks on the door. Drew, dad is on the phone."

"Get in here and tell me what is going on, this waiting is getting harder by the day."

"I have bad news, your plan kind of backfired. She isn't talking her into coming home, she's going to ask them to let her stay. Melody reached out and hugged her to pieces, then escorted her personally through the gate.

"What?" Drew glares at Eric.

"I didn't know she would do that." Eric says in his defense.

"Stop arguing, it gave me a plan. What if I play nice and talk my way in there and at least see what is up with them?"

"I'd wait a few days to let things settle down first." Drew tells him.

"That is a good plan. I'll wait then see if I can get in. Let's see if I can trick them into believing I just want to be part of her life."

"Do what you can do, we can take her if we have to." Drew said with a lot of anger.

"Alpha I want to tell you something, my wife is here. If we take Melody I want to take her."

"It shouldn't be that hard to take her too."

"If you two are getting the woman of your dreams I should get mine and bring Bonnie back."

Drew rolls his eyes. "If we can get here then yes we can bring all three back."

"Uncle Charley it has been six weeks sense the concert. I am beginning to wonder if they are coming or not. They haven't given us ad problems not even a phone call."

"I know it's strange after everything Michael said they aren't around. We need to keep our guards up and make sure we don't let them fool us."

"I have to go to this meeting in town I am only an hour away but I don't feel right leaving her and the kids." He had put it off twice and it was to get a business started in the city and he had to ok things, every time he postponed this trip the place couldn't open.

"You have to take care of business we got this." Branden says as he walks in on their conversation.

Anthony glares at Branden. "Uncle Charley you sure you can handle the kids and Melody, keep them safe I mean?"

"Boy will you just go before I have to put you over my knee, and you know I can do it."

"Papa Charley what is wrong with you, you know you would hurt your back picking up that big baby there." Melody teases as she comes down the stairs.

Anthony glares at Melody this time, "I don't like leaving you and the kids with asshole out there somewhere. Don't you leave the pack and stay either at home or the hospital. I have four guards to follow you and with Uncle Charley you should be safe. Branden is staying in a guest room to be a little safer."

"Stop worrying, I will be fine here. The sooner you leave the sooner you will be back. I love you." I kiss Anthony and wave goodbye.

Anthony isn't even out of the pack, and he is on the phone. "Dad, I'm leaving, you have the pack make sure they keep an eye out for Melody and the kids."

"Son, I know how to take care of things while you are gone and Melody will be fine, I promise, try to relax."
