Chapter 64

All of them, including Michael go to the house for dinner. Michael not realizing Laurie was going to be there, shows his contempt for her.

"Michael, it has been a long time how are you?"

"I have nothing to say to you."

Frank, walks up behind Laurie giving her a hug and a kiss. Carley runs over and jumps in his arms, "Daddy, you've been gone all day." Frank holds his little girl in one arm and wraps the other arm around Laurie.

"What has my little girl been doing today?"

"Playing with the twins, they get into a lot of trouble, they need me to help them."

Kody gets everyone's attention, "Since we have all these happy couples, I would like to tell you all something. I have found my mate. She is a violinist that I met at Melody's last concert. She will be here tomorrow to visit us."

Cameron walks over, "It's about time you old geezer."

"Old geezer you are ten years older than me. Don't you think it's about time you two old farts get one?" Kody teases Cameron and Charley.

"I have the only girls I need and four of them are upstairs sleeping and the other is here laughing at me."

Everyone is laughing. They are so happy being together and around each other. Everyone that is except Michael who is silently steaming inside.

Melody and Laurie go up to get the pups. "Are you ok with him being here, Mom? Really?"

"He can't hurt me anymore. I have you back in my life and I'm fine with that." They pick up Wyatt and Hailey as the nannies get the triplets, then head to the living room.

"That is a lot of pups and so close together." Michael comments as he looks at the five beautiful babies.

Melody introduces them one at a time. "This is Wyatt, and this is Hailey." The nannies bring up the triplets, "This is Hope, Sarah, and Phoebe."

"At least you got one boy out of it."

Anthony walks over with a flirtatious grin on his face, "For now." Causing Melody to blush.

Michael takes note of what the older two look like, Wyatt looks like his mother except his eyes, he has his grandmother's eyes, they are the color of the ocean and remind you of waves crashing on the beach. He has always loved her eyes. Hailey is so much like her mother, the same face and little dimples, but she has Drew's eyes. He doesn't care about the triplets, they have no value to him.

"These two are the ones that you brought with you, they don't look like Anthony."

"They don't look like me, they look like their mother, but they do act like me."

"Melody, I think I am going to leave early, for some reason my stomach is not feeling well." He is thinking that this should be him and his pack, that they have been stolen from them. His anger is starting to get the better of him and he doesn't want to blow this chance to help Alpha Kevin."

"It is a shame, Michael, that you have to leave, we will have to catch up another time."

"If it is possible I'd like to visit again tomorrow. Whenever you are off work, Melody."

"Morning shift tomorrow, I'll be home around two."

"Then I will see you at two, thank you for having me." Four guards meet him at the door then escort him to the gate and watch as he leaves.

"Dad, will you help me in the morning, we need to set up the transportation here and there. The plane is going to be the hardest."

"What is going to be the hardest is getting the top floor to ourselves. How many are coming with us anyway?"

Anthony starts the head count. "Too many, we'll count in the morning."

In the morning Kody knocks on the door, "Good morning. I've come to ask if I can bring my mate to the house? She will be here with her kids around two."

Anthony has known Kody his whole life and I so pleased he found his mate, "Of course, we would love to meet them."

You can see Kody loves her when he talks about her. "She is so special, I can't wait for you to meet her. She is a widow with a set of twin boys that are six years old, her name is Amanda. She plays the violin for Stephen."

"She sounds wonderful, I might have already met her at one of the concerts. It will be nice to have someone that likes music as much as I do around."

As soon as Melody finished working, she is hurrying home to get ready for her guests. "Mom, where are you?"

"In the kitchen getting some snacks together for Kody and his mate."

"What would I do without you, you are such a help around here. I truly love you."

"Go get ready, they will be here in a few minutes."

Anthony came in the bedroom, "Kody is here with Amanda and the boys."

"Help me with my zipper and we can go down and meet them."

"I would much rather be unzipping you." Melody slapped his arm and the two went downstairs.

"Welcome to my crazy house." Melody joked.

"I have two and my house is crazy, how do you do it with five and a full-time job?"

"Luckily, I have a lot of help, along with a great family."

"I only have my mom, but she is there for me as much as she can be. Without her after my husband died, I don't think I would have made it."

Anthony throws a pillow off the couch at Kody, "As soon as you move here and become part of the pack you will have more family than you could imagine."

"Kody said you play for Stephen, how did that come about?"

"That's right, I was there at your last concert. My husband died three years ago in a car accident. He was a good man, he loved his boys, and he loved how I played the violin. I had to make some extra money after he passed so I started to give violin lessons."

"Can we go play with her outside?" The two boys run up with Carley.

"It is fine with me if the alpha and Luna don't mind." Anthony waved for them to go. Amanda continues, "My students were cute, and it allowed me to do what I always loved to do, play the violin. One day Stephen came to listen to one of my students play as a favor to his mother. The kid was good, but he didn't have the drive to play. He was just doing it to make his mother happy."

"It is hard to picture Stephen working with kids he is so strict." Melody remembered the six months he worked with her.

"He was not impressed with the young boy. While I was playing for my second-year students he heard me. The stinker walked right into my class and interrupted me, like he owned the place. He was so loud and pushy, he told me I had to join his orchestra that he would not take no for an answer. His hand was waving in the air and he kept pointing at me. He can be extremely persistent and stubborn."

"You don't have to tell me. I know what you mean about him being persistent. He is like that with me even now."

"Well, that's how I started playing with Stephen. Maybe we can practice together? I have my violin with me. I never leave home without it."

Kody is sitting with Anthony on the couch watching his future wife getting along with his family. Finding it hard to believe that he finally has a mate after all this time and how happy she has made him.
