Chapter 78

The area is all set for the bonfire, the lights are all set up and the food is being brought out. The pack members are starting to gather around. Just as the sun is setting and the sky still has enough light in it to see.

Anthony and Melody get on the platform. "Members of the Silver Lake Pack we have an announcement to make. My beautiful wife, your Luna, is pregnant." Cheers are heard throughout the yard. "We are going to do a gender reveal and wanted you all to be part of it."

Bonnie asks, "Are you ready for the reveal?"

"Yes, go for it."

The balloon goes up and you see, an arrow hit the balloon it is blue, then a second one goes up and another arrow hits the balloon, blue comes from this one also.

Melody is smiling (partly because she is having a boy and doesn't have to do this again) at Anthony who says, "It's a boy?"

"No stupid it is not a boy," Anthony looks confused. "It is TWO boys."

Hearing this he picks Melody up over his head. "It's twin boys!" is yelled through the pack and the cheers erupt, the pack is thrilled with the news. The inner circle of friends all cheer with each other, overjoyed with the news.

"Now let them talk about me again." Is all Anthony says to the beta and head warrior there who are among those who have picked on him.

Kody clears his throat, "I would like to say something. First congratulations, Luna. Alpha, this is wonderful news. Second is that your boys will be playing with our little one as they grow up."

Laurie yells, "You're pregnant too?"

Another round of cheers starts for the news that they were having a new addition to the family.

Amanda says in a joking way, "It was that damn concert. It has gotten us both."

"Do you know what you are having?" Bonnie asks.

"Yes, it is a "

Bonnie cuts her off, "Don't say it. Amanda, come here a minute," then she whispers in Amanda's ear.

"What are you doing?"

"Don't ask questions, Branden. Just come with me."

Ten minutes later she is back with another balloon. "I thought it would be nice if we did this for the beta also."

Anthony goes back to the platform bringing Kody and Amanda with him. "Pack members can I have your attention. We have great news our beta Kody and his mate Amanda are expecting a little one of their own and we were going to share the moment when he finds out what he is having."

The balloon is released and then another arrow goes through the air, the color pink comes out of the balloon, "It's a girl." Kody's smile goes from ear to ear, he turns to Amanda, "I never thought that I would find my mate as for having a pup, being I am in my thirties. Then you came into my life, and it has all changed and you have made my life complete. You are a blessing." Then he kisses her a long and passionate kiss.

"Wait we are not done yet. Look over the stage." Amanda points. Another balloon goes up and the arrow hits it and then pink comes out for the second time.

"Twins? We are having twin girls?" Amanda smiles and nods her head yes. Frank is so happy.

"Is there anyone else who has something to say?" Everyone looks at Bonnie.

"Don't get any ideas I am not having a baby any time soon."

Branden smirks, "Not if I have my way." Bonnie who is now blushing. The group starts laughing.

"Not until we have a mating ceremony."

"We will set it up for this week," Branden says as he winks at Bonnie who rolls her eyes at him. "Laurie and Melody, will you help us please?"

"Yes Branden, we will start in the morning," Laurie says.

Papa Charley smiles, "I was right you know? We are going to need a bigger house. With all the family growing."

"We have three months to get it done. Whatever it is we're doing." Melody shakes her head at Charley.

"Kody is in the pack house, why don't we give them the house we have? It even has a music room, and enough bedrooms. It will make a perfect home for them if they want it and we can build another one."

Melody looks at this man she calls father, "That is your house with Hope, I could not ask you to give that up."

"My life is not the past. You taught me that. My life is the here and now. My life is with my daughter and grand pups. Little one you might think I saved you, when the truth is you saved me." He then kisses her on the top of her head.

Drew and Eric stand in the background not wanting to be part of this happy moment. "This is when we should give them the present."

"Go for it, Drew," Eric nudges him to step up.

"Luna Melody, when we heard about the gender reveal we wanted to do something. This afternoon we went out and got this for the baby. Being men and not knowing much about babies, I hope it is something you would like."

"That was very thoughtful of you." When she opens it there is two wolves, each playing Brahms Lullaby. "How did you know there was two of them?"

"You had twins then you had triblets we were hoping this was enough wolves for them."

Michael takes this time to slip away. No one is watching him, as he sneaks into Anthony's office and is taking pictures of the pack's borders and the patrols, a long with the safety set up for the pack.

"Charley, meet me at the back of the pack house, now."

"Be there in ten, Cameron." Charley makes excuses and heads to his brother, "What's up Cameron?"

"I think Michael was in Anthony's office. I saw him outside his door, he was acting funny and almost ran from it."

"You have to tell Antony."

"I don't want to ruin their night, it can wait till morning to say something. Help me keep an eye on the three of them."

"At least get some guards to help watch them."

"I will have two set outside the door to the office and I have one following them without them knowing."

The next morning, Anthony comes in the kitchen to find Charley waiting for him. "Did you sleep well last night you don't look yourself, Uncle Charley?"

"You need to go to your office and talk to your dad. It is important."

"Did something happen last night?"

"Go talk to your dad, I don't want Melody to hear us talking."
