Anthony came back with two sodas to see the two stuffed wolves that weren't there when he left. "Where did these come from?"

Melody touched her cheek. "Kody brought them. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek and thanked me."

Anthony, who had a mouth full of soda, spits it out and says shocked, "Kody!"

"Yes, Kody."

Anthony shakes his head not believing the unemotional beta did that. "I can't believe that. He's never affectionate with anyone."

"Well, I'm special." She lifts her chin up and sticks her tongue at him.

"I agree, you are very special." He leans over her giving her a kiss. Then whispers, "Now that you had the pups, I am looking forward to a few nights with my Luna." Then a low purr comes from his chest.

"You still have to wait for about two weeks." Melody gazed at Anthony; how perfect he was. His answer to her next question would tell her if she would be able to stay with him or not. "What do you truly feel about the pups?"

"You mean MY pups. I love MY pups. They're beautiful, I would never let anything happen to MY pups. They are mine and I won't share them with anyone else."

The relief that appeared on Melody's face made her glow. Hearing the way he exaggerated the word my and the protective and possessiveness in his voice made her realize all her fear was for nothing. "I am so sorry mate of mine, you are going to have to share them." She winks, "At least with me." Anthony wraps her up in his arms happy with how his life is turning out.

"Papa Charley is parking the car he will be right in."

Melody is holding the little girl when Charley walks in the room. "Does Pop-pop want to hold Hailey?"

"I would love to hold my grandpup." He holds her in his arms taking his finger touching hers. "This little girl is going to be like her mom and play all kinds of music."

"What makes you say that?"

"Have you seen how long her fingers are and look at the way she stretches them like she is reaching for the keys on the piano. Just like I have seen you do numerous times."

"I never noticed that, you are right that is how I stretch my fingers. Who knows she might be like me and love music."

The nurse walked in. "The Alpha is signing your discharge papers; you can go home as soon as he gets back."

"Good. I am ready to go home, they are nice here, but I miss my own bed."

"You mean you miss your bed partner."

"I won't lie; I miss him a lot. How about I take Hailey, and you give Wyatt a turn."

"No can do." Alpha Cameron comes in the door and picks up Wyatt. "I need one to hold. Don't forget I am a grandpa too." Melody watches the love her pups are getting and is so thankful for the way her life is turning out.

Anthony walks in with the nurse. "I'm finished the paperwork, time to get you out of here." Charley carries Hailey and Cameron has Wyatt leaving the rest of the stuff for Anthony to carry.

"Luna, I have to push you out, hospital rules." Melody says goodbye to everyone as she is pushed to the car.

"Please thank the staff for all their care, it meant a lot to all of us." She gestures to the pups and Anthony.

"It was an honor to care for you, Luna Melody, and our future leaders."

Kody was in the driver's seat. The two pups sat between Melody and Anthony safe in their car seats. When they reached the street by the house both of them were pleasantly surprised. Pack members lined the road and the driveway. 'Why couldn't it have been like this at my old pack?'

'Don't go there.' Harmony warned. 'Enjoy this time and leave the past in the past.'

Melody knows Harmony is right, she sakes off the bad feelings so she can enjoy the good things happening. 'The Moon Goddess blessed me with this wonderful life. I am taking your advice and letting the past stay in the past.'

As Anthony got out of the car all you heard was congratulations. "Thank you all for coming here to welcome our son, Wyatt, and our daughter, Hailey, home. The love you are showing them will help them grow with this pack and love you back."

Melody stood behind Anthony. "I would like to show the pack our twins." Anthony agreed, knowing how excited the pack would be to see the pups. Melody took out Hailey and Anthony took out Wyatt.

"This is our daughter, Hailey." Anthony said as Melody held her up for them to see. "This is our son, Wyatt." He lifted him up so they could see him.

"We will leave these here for the twins." The members walked leaving their gifts by the car. Cameron and Charley sneaked behind the crowd and waited in the house.

When Anthony and Melody finally got in the house, Cameron walked straight over to them. "Give me my grandson." Taking him out of Anthony's arms without waiting for an answer.

"Don't you dare think you are going to do that with Hailey." Charley went over to Melody taking Hailey out of her arms. Both of them sat on the couch playing with the pups.

Seeing the funny faces and silly noises they made, Anthony had to tease them, "Who are the pups in there?" Both of them ignored him.

"I am glad to be home." Anthony turned to Melody, seeing how tired she looked. "The beds in the hospital are so hard, you can't sleep right."

"I hired a nanny to help with the pups. With school starting soon, the Luna duties, and music lessons I thought you could use some help."

"You are so sweet thinking of me all the time. Have I told you lately how much I love you?"

"Not as much as I love you." Anthony hugged her.

"Is it alright that I go downstairs to play for a little bit? I have missed playing the piano so much."

"Go enjoy yourself, the grandpops have them." With one more glance at the two men cooing at the pups in their arms, Melody went downstairs. Shortly the house was filled with the sweet sounds of her singing and the melody of the piano keys.

The pups loved hearing the music every time Melody played. Whenever she went downstairs to practice the twins would go with her. Some nights the pups couldn't sleep so she would sing to them, they would cuddle up and fall fast asleep. "Can you believe they are a week old. It feels so unreal having them here with us."

"I know what you mean. Melody, we should talk about the pups." Anthony seems very serious.

"Okay. Is there a problem?"

"We talked about me adopting them. If you still want me to, I would like to do it before you start back to school in a week."

"I want you to adopt them with all my heart. It's just the way you are talking; I am getting nervous."

"It's nothing bad; I don't want anyone trying to take them from me. Being the Alpha, it will be easy to deal with the werewolf part of adopting, with him rejecting them. I don't understand the human adoption laws. Dad knows some human lawyers that can speed up the process. We need to start it as soon as possible."

"You're worried that you now who will give us a problem."

"If they were mine and someone else tried to claim them, I would lose my shit. The sooner this is done the less likely he will have a way of fighting us and taking them. I don't want to have to kill him for taking or trying to take my pups or my mate."

"You have to know I want you to adopt them. I didn't want to pressure you to do it if you weren't ready. The way you treat the twins makes me the happiest Luna, mother, and mate in the whole world."

The werewolf council took no time at all. They only needed to register the pups with the council. Human laws were even easier. All he had to do was sign the birth certificate, he was her husband. They were both happy the twins were safe, no one could take them from Anthony.
