Chapter 74

"Good morning, Alpha Kevin. We are here to give you your next treatment. Bonnie, will you help me roll the alpha over please?"

Bonnie thinks as she helps Melody, this is not the alpha I knew growing up. This man is weak and looks so bad. "Are you comfortable, alpha?"

"Yes, this is good."

"Alpha, I have to admit you are reacting to the treatment faster than anyone I have treated before. If you keep this up you might be able to go home in no time." Anthony wants me to make his treatment a little faster. I think having them around has been so much harder than I thought and I thought it was going to be hard.

"Are you trying to get rid of me, Melody?" Alpha Kevin is teasing the two women. Smiling for the first time in quit a while.

"Now, alpha, would I let Melody send my favorite alpha away on me."

"Wait, no way he is my favorite alpha and I am not sharing him." Melody sticks her tong out at Bonnie.

Kevin claps his hand grinning at the two of them. "Even grown you two have not changed." The two of them are happy to see their old alpha smiling.

I see Drew enter his father's room right after we left, they are not being bad just it feels like my world is being spied on. "Bonnie, what did you think of Drew's nice little speech?"

"I don't know, it sounds good, but I don't trust him as far as I can throw him."

"I keep thinking what Papa Charley said about not forgiving so easy and to watch out for lies."

"That sounds like good advice."

"Anthony has not said anything yet about what he thinks about it. Seems he is losing it with them. He is afraid that they are going to do something or start something at any minute."

"Well do you blame him? They have been looking around and acting strange. Eric is still staring at me, and Branden noticed it and is having a hard time with his temper and his wolf's."

"Anthony is even more protective now that I am pregnant. And what the guys said to him is also not helping. I wish they would stop teasing him."

"What are the guys saying?"

"We had all girls he was happy until Kody started. He is getting picked on by the other men that he can't have a boy. They pissed him off one time so bad he came home cranky, telling me that I had to get pregnant right then. The triplets were only six months old. I had to promise to get pregnant when they were a year old to stop him from trying right then."

Bonnie chuckled at the way she said it and the face she made. "What did they say that got him that upset?"

They were telling him that Wyatt was a fluke, and he can't make boys. He was lucky he got one to stop trying or he would end up with a girls softball team. I can't believe we are doing this again."

"Me either, you are crazy having that many kids. Branden will be lucky if he has one. I liked my life being spoiled and getting all the attention. I want that for my child."

"I know he wants another son. Not that he doesn't want Wyatt or thinks of him any differently. I know he loves him and claims him, it is that it is all girls. It hurt his ego, maybe even his pride I think." Drew and them left the pack for the rest of the day, making things a little less stressed.

The next morning is even busier, "Good morning, Bethany, I need you to help with the six new patients. Bonnie and I are starting our rounds, when we are done can you take blood samples from each one. Test them for their blood count and the amount of cancer cells and compare it to the last test."
