Chapter 46

Mom keeps buying clothes for the girls. Oh, by the way, we had another ultrasound, were having two girls this time. Picking out the names has caused a war, no one can agree on what they should be.

"I am their father, and they should be called Antonia and Alexandria."

"I'm mom and it is a no."

"Calling one of them Laurie would be nice. I am the grandmom."

"Francis is a strong female name," Frank is being silly.

"It would be nice to name one after Anthony's mom Sarah."

Even Papa Charley joined in. "Hope would be a good name after my wife."

They left it up to me, "I'm leaning toward Phoebe and Grace. When I see their faces, I will know for sure, it's all in their little smiles." They're still working on the nursery. I hope they can get it done in two weeks; we really got a late start on it.

I am so sick of being in the house, like it or not I am going to waddle my fat butt over to mom's. She is only across the street. First, my mission is to sneak bast Papa Charly.

"Where are you going young lady?"

"I wanted a drink, so I got up to get it."

"Get your drink then right back to bed. I am taking the twins out back."

"Let me give them a kiss before you go." I give my very happy and active twins a kiss and tickle their still tiny feet.

Papa Charley heads out the back door yelling over his shoulder. Get back to bed."

The coast is clear, and I am out the door. This is a mistake, halfway there and it feels like I am going to collapse. They said take it easy, oh no my water just broke.

Mind linking Anthony, "Come get me, I'm standing in the middle of the street with wet feet. My water broke."

Mom's yelling, "What are you doing? They told you to take it easy and here you are in the street."

"Mom, my water broke."

"I can see that." Laurie holds her head, "I need to calm down. I swear you're trying to give me a heart attack."

"Not now mom I can't heal you."

Anthony drives up he got here so fast. "Baby, what are you doing out here?"

"I just wanted to see my mom." I start crying, "Everybody is yelling at me, and my tummy hurts." Here comes another contraction.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm didn't mean to yell." Anthony says as he picks me up and carries me to the car.

As they pull out of the driveway Anthony sees Charley, Laurie, and Frank getting in a car behind him. Pulling up to the hospital there is Kody, Branden, and Cameron waiting for us.

"Anthony, it hurts baby really bad. Worse than last time."

"I got you; we are almost there."

The nurses are there with a stretcher. "Lay her here, the rest of you will have to go to the waiting room. Alpha go in this room and get a gown on." The nurses are still pushing the stretcher to the delivery room.

"Well, let's see how we are doing. You have a little way to go. I'd say you should be holding your pups in about thirty minutes."

"Baby another contraction, these are hard and fast." Anthony is holding my hand, trying to calm me down.

"It will be okay I'm here." He smooths the hair out of my face.

"Talk to me. Take my mind off this pain, please baby."

"Well, I have a question for you."

"What?"

He starts laughing, "Can we try for a set of boys next time?" Melody reaches up to smack him, then a contraction makes her cringe. "I'm sorry, baby. We won't do this again I promise."

"Yeah, it's all your fault we're having these. You forgot something."

"Wait a minute, it's your fault too. I can't help it if you make the sweetest noises, and I can't resist you."

She growls at him then calls for the doctor, "I feel like I should be pushing."

The doctor checks to see how far along she is, "It's time to have pups, Luna." The first baby is born within ten minutes. The second baby gives her a five-minute break then joins her sister. "Well, you have two beautiful girls."

"Doc, it doesn't feel right something is wrong." He checks her one more time.

"Luna, push for me."

"Why?"

"Just push." The next thing they hear is a baby crying. The doctor holds the baby up to show them, "You have another girl."

Anthony looks at the baby, "Three? Three?" Then passes out on the floor.

"That's why the women have the babies." The doctor says as a nurse bends down to help Anthony off the floor.

Once Anthony is steady on his feet again he kisses me, "I'm going to go tell our parents." Anthony enters the waiting room, "We have a problem, guys."

Laurie is the first to ask, "Is Melody alright? Are the babies alright?" Charley is on his feet worried.

"Well, I guess you could say everyone's alright, but well, we have an extra one."

"An extra one?" Charley is looking confused.

"Yeah, an extra one."

Cameron realizes what he is saying, "She had three?"

"Yeah, the third one is small but she's fine. They are all fine."

Papa Charley shakes his head, "We're going to need a bigger house."

The next hour everyone comes to visit, they are anxious to see Melody and the babies. Anthony comes in the room carrying Wyatt and Hailey in his arms. As everyone is cooing over the babies, Anthony spends his time with the twins, so they don't feel left out.

"Does daddy's little trouble makers want to meet your new sisters?" He places them both on the bed with me while he brings the girls over one at a time.

"This is your sister, Hope." I look over to Charley to see him grinning from ear to ear. Him and I talked and named her after his wife.

When Anthony brings the next one over, he tells them, "This is Sarah." Anthony puts his arm over his father's shoulder and gives him a half hug as to say for mom. "Now last but not least, our surprise, Phoebe."

"I named her after my friend, Bonnie's mom." Holding back a tear in my eye, "If it wasn't for her and Bonnie, I wouldn't have made it. When I was hungry, she fed me, when I got hurt, she actually fixed it, when nobody else would, no one else cared."

Laurie hugs her, "That sounds perfect to me."

Charley says, "Hey this is a happy time no crying."

"I think mommy here needs some sleep." Everyone heads out. "I'll be back after the twins are settled in."

"You called them trouble makers."

"What would you call it when they got into the refrigerator and dumped the milk and juice on the floor, along with most of the eggs." I had to laugh knowing they could be bad as anything.

"Thank you for loving them." Melody tells Anthony.

"What are you talking about? They are my pups why wouldn't I love them?" Anthony answers me looking confused.

"I love you, Anthony." Everyone left except Charley.

"Well little one, did you see that, he will love them no matter what. I told you he is a good man with a true heart."

"What would I do without you Papa Charley?"

He kisses me on the forehead. "Get some rest."
