Eric knocked on Drew's door, "Come in."

"Drew, I need your help."

"That's Alpha Drew. What do you need help with?"

"I got the old lady from the orphanage help like you said."

"Okay what is wrong with that?"

"The problem is she said that the one person isn't enough and that I need to find someone that cares about kids."

"Who did you send there?"

"The blonde I had a date with was looking for work, so I sent her."

"No wonder she is complaining. That girl hates kids, said she isn't getting mated to any male that wanted them."

"Fine I picked the wrong one, do I give them someone else. How am I supposed to know if they care." Eric is frustrated and hates this part of his job as Beta.

"Tell her to get rid of the blonde and tell her to do the interviews and pick out one she likes. As a matter of fact, tell her to pick out two. That should get her off your back and mine."

"You know I think half the reason she is acting like this is to get even with us for losing Melody. She really loved her. The way she acted the girl hung the moon and we are the devil in disguise. I'm her brother she should know we are the same."

Drew peered up from his computer and cocked his one eye at Eric "Did you hear what you just said? A lot of the pack members liked her and hated what happened. We don't need them any madder at us."

Eric was sick of Melody. "I could really hate her for all these problems. Now we need to get help for the pack house. We have one person, and she can't keep up with all there is to do. She also wants help, especially with the parties we throw."

"Eric, you are in charge of hiring. Dad and I both told you to hire someone to do the cooking and cleaning. Don't tell me you are that incompetent. Goddess, I wish you were more like your father, he never gave my father these problems. If you mention her one more time, I promise I will kick the shit out of you."

Seeing how pissed he was Eric knew he had to tread lightly. "I'm sorry, Alpha Drew."

"I have been Alpha for two months and all I keep hearing is complaining on how much is not getting done. Like it is my fault the ones we are hiring can't get the jobs done like." He didn't say her name, just stewed in his anger. "How did I think she wouldn't be accepted as Luna. So many members are bitching at me because of her."

"Yeah, but just as many say you did the right thing getting rid of her. The party last night all you heard was how ugly she was and how stupid."

"Eric, the ones saying that are the ones that want to be my Luna. All except the red head Sasha, she liked the bitch. I hate hearing her name. We should have another party tonight. I will find me a good Luna and she can take over some of the shit Melody did." Drew made a face like shit was in his mouth when he said her name.

"Why don't I make it a private party, with just a few girls. Let you show off your bedtime skills."

"That's if Boomer lets me. I have to get drunk for him to stop howling when I am with a girl."

"I thought he decided to be mad at her."

"He is on this kick if I knew what happened I should of helped her sooner and she would have been good enough."

Another knock comes to Drew's door. "I'll get it." Eric opens the door to see his father. "I didn't know you were back."

Michael gave his son a quick pat on his shoulder. "Alpha Drew, how are things going here?"
