Several hours passed as the two of them were drinking. "This is taking too long." Eric was complaining as the two of them got a bit tipsy.

"It's Michael." Drew puts the phone on speaker. "Is it her?"

"It's her. I actually talked to her."

"How did the talk go? What did she say?" Both of them are talking at the same time.

"One at a time." Michael tells them.

Drew held up his hand to Eric, "Listen, Michael, start at the beginning and tell us everything going on."

"There is a lot going on. I told you she was playing the piano here, she is becoming pretty famous. This well-known musician took her under his wing. When I got to the hotel, she wasn't here yet. All I had was the picture to go by. That is why it I didn't call you sooner."

"She is there now? Should we come out there and take her back now?"

"Alpha Drew, slow down. Taking her is not going to be easy. When she got here, she came with an army. I watched them from a corner across the street. There were ten guards, eight adults, two little pups and three younger pups."

"Those little pups are mine! Wait a minute, she had pups with him?"

"I am not sure. It looked that way." Michael was getting tired of Drew yelling in the phone. "Will you let me finish!" Eric hits Drew in the arm, shutting him up. "After they went up to their rooms, I sent her a message. I didn't tell her it was me, it said someone that cared. If she knew it was me her mate could of stopped her."

"That was a good idea, Dad."

"It worked, she came down to see who sent it, when she saw it was me, she was not happy. Her mate came with her along with a few guards. After they saw it was me, a guy she calls Papa Charley came down with another group of guards. That Papa Charley is the one that helped her get away from us. He picked her up and brought her to this pack."

"Picked her up?" Eric asks confused.

"I am not sure, they said something about him driving a big truck and he took her with him cross country. He acts like he's her father too."

Drew and Eric heard the anger in Michael's voice. "Dad, she is trying to get back at you. Don't let her get to you."

"When I talked to her, I tried to tell her that we were sorry, I even told her that when she left, and we couldn't find her I damn near lost my mind."

"After hearing you say that she must of felt bad for leaving. I mean she left you, her father and me her brother."

"Shit Eric, she left me, and I am her mate. Stop being an ass and let your father finish."

"Will the two of you stop bickering? She didn't feel bad in the least, not from what I saw. I don't know what else to say to her, I told her I see her for her not her mother and that did nothing."

"Did you tell her that we would take care of her?"

"Her life now is perfect, she has everything she has always wanted. Before you even ask, I told her we could give her that life too and she would be home where she belongs. I even told her Eric missed her and wanted a second chance. Her mate hasn't picked out a Luna because he is waiting for her to come home."

"Now that must have had an effect on her."

"You're not going to like this. Melody has a second chance mate. The Moon Goddess felt bad for giving her a shitty mate the first time and gave her another one. Her words, not mine. Him and her have been together almost as long as she has been gone."
