Chapter 56
"Hello. Let me put this on speaker. Drew hits the button. It's your dad."
"Hey, dad. What did you find out?"
"There's a lot of shit you should know. I went to see her before the concert, when it was just her and me. She's never going to come back on her own."
Drew asks, "What do you mean she's never coming back on her own?"
"She's got one hell of a life here and is kind of famous. She was playing the piano for a sold-out concert. She turned around and saw me, for the hell of it she sang right to me. It was one of Laurie's favorite opera songs, damn her eyes were glued to mine. The song was about how happy and in love she is."
"I remember her singing. She had a beautiful voice. Her and mom practiced all the time. I never knew she could sing Opera."
"Why did she stop sing?"
"It was my fault I couldn't stand to know she was happy. So I told her to never sing again. Matter of fact I forbid her to play any instruments either. It reminded me of times with her mother and it pissed me off."
"When we get her back and she is my mate again she will play for me and sing for me."
"I felt bad for a minute, I should want her to be happy. But I am selfish, and I want her back where she belongs. After she sang she played the violin. Everyone was applauding and screaming her name. She had so many people wanting her."
"Are you telling me you are having second thoughts. If you are I am telling you I will come for her without your help."
"I am her father I am so proud of what she has done. I hate the fact she did it without any of us and is enjoying life with them and leaving us out. I agree she belongs home, I just never thought of her as my daughter the somebody. Don't worry about me I am with you."
Good because your daughter is coming home to me and going to be my Luna even if I have to guard her and chain her, she will not leave me or this pack. If I have my way, she will be pregnant all the time. I am going to make her have my pups until she can't make them anymore. It will serve her right for having pups for him."
"Let me tell you what else she did. The next day she goes to a councilman's house, they greeted her with hugs. I'm talking about a councilman, hugged her. One of the guards told me she's a doctor and is treating the councilman for cancer. He's gotten a lot better; he can stand up now, he was bed ridden. So, she must be pretty good."
Drew thinks to himself, "What about my dad? Could she help him? Do you think she could help my dad?"
"She most likely could. She has gone home to her pack. The councilman is there now, he had to finish some treatment or something. I followed them as far as I could, but I can't get in the pack. Not with all the councilman's guards here along with their guards. It's too crazy to even try."
"You coming home dad?"
"I think I'm going to stay here a little longer, wait for that councilman to leave and then try to get in to talk to her again. With what she's been doing with her life, she is going to be hard to get our hands on."
"Dad, we sent Bonnie to her, try to talk her into coming back. She should be there soon, so keep an eye out for her."
"I'll call you when she gets here. Are you sure she wants to bring her back?"
"That is what she said, right Drew."
"She said she would get her to come back."
"I guess things changed, she told us the day Melody left she hoped she never came back, and we all suffered for what we did."
"I finally asked her out. She said she would see me when she got back."
Michael has been sitting for ten days, hidden and watching what's going on. He saw the councilman leave and there is no sign of Bonnie. He calls Home. "Hi Eric I was wondering is Bonnie still coming I thought she would be here by now. It doesn't take that long to fly here."
"No dad she isn't flying she is driving."
"Tell Drew the councilman left and I will call again when she gets here."
"If you need us dad we will be on a plane and there in no time."
"While I have you on the phone and it's just us, I have to tell you something." He paused for a few seconds. "Your mother is here. Melody and her met up and she lives here now."
"Like you said dad two of a kind both bitches that don't care about the men in their lives. I don't care about her I gave up on her a long time ago. I know you love her how are you doing?"
"I still love her. I don't know why but when I saw that man that took her from me, I had to punch him. I still don't know why after 12 years she would choose him over me."
"It's not worth the pain dad forget her."
"What would you think if we get your mother when we take your sister back. I could lock her up in the dungeons and keep her chained in the house."
Eric tries to make a joke. "You can put and collar and leash on her until she learns to stay. She has been a bad wolfy."
"Sometimes son you amaze me with the way you think."
"I have a plan on what to do with them when we find them but I have to put it past the Alpha. If he likes it I think it will work."
"Someone is coming I will call you later."
"Stay safe dad."
