Izuku groaned as he shouldered the door closed. He rolled his shoulders, kicking off his red sneakers with a huff of impatience. He was exhausted and in no mood to deal with the stereotypical life stuff he normally would. His yellow backpack flopped to the floor with a dull thud . The morning sun was just barely peeking through the blinds. Izuku took a deep breath, ready to just trot into the bedroom and collapse when the smell of fresh brewed coffee hit his senses. A soft whine broke past his dry lips, eyes fluttering as a certain blonde formed in the genkan with a smug smirk and crossed arms.

"I'm home," Izuku murmured, flopping forward against the man. A husky chuckle rumbled up through the blonde's chest, arms uncrossing to wrap around Izuku's waist.

"Welcome home, baby," Katsuki whispered, pressing a kiss to Izuku's temple. "How was your first night with the cats?"

"Grueling," He grumbled into Katsuki's shoulder. Another rumbling chuckle worked its way out, one of Katsuki's hands coming up to ruffle Izuku's hair. "Aoi was being real bratty over being denied cuddles since I had to sit with little Torao. Hokori was in quite the mood over the temperature change. Akio was a perfect angel as always and Hitomi was... well, Hitomi. Pissy over the fact Shinsou wasn't there," Izuku rambled on. Katsuki had started rocking them in place, tucking Izuku's head under his chin as the nerd muttered about his night.

"Sounds 'bout right," Katsuki pressed a kiss to Izuku's head. "C'mon, I got coffee and eggs waitin' for ya," The blonde extracted the greenette from his arms, gingerly leading the exhausted man into their apartment where the dining table was set with food. Izuku let out a quiet moan as Katsuki got him seated. Katsuki dished out eggs onto their plates, toast with strawberry preserves for Izuku while his own set aside with butter. Izuku mumbled a thank you and itadakimasu before grabbing a fork to shovel eggs into his mouth. Katsuki snorted in mock disgust, nudging some egg onto his toast to take his own bite of breakfast.

"Thanks Kacchan," Izuku hummed between mouthfuls. "It's so good,"

"So keep it in your mouth, nerd," Katsuki huffed. Izuku blushed and went back to eating, making little noises of pleasure and enjoyment as he went. Katsuki smiled one of his rare smiles of affection. Izuku was adorable like this. Green eyes locked on the All-Might coffee cup filled to the brim with his favorite coffee. Izuku snatched it, sipping it gingerly due to the temperature while wishing he could gulp it down the way Kacchan does his tea. Katsuki let out another snort and shook his head.

"Oi, you better be in bed when I get out of the shower nerd. Don't touch the dishes," Katsuki ruffled Izuku's hair again as he walked by with his dishes. Izuku mumbled out a reply between his sips of coffee, humming at the rich taste over his tongue.

"For a man who doesn't like coffee, Kacchan makes the best coffee," Izuku hummed in satisfaction.

"Damn right!" He heard Katsuki call from the bathroom as the door shut. Izuku shook his head as he giggled, setting the cup down to prevent spilling it. What he did to deserve such a man as his boyfriend, he didn't know. Eventually, his mug was empty and his stomach was full. Izuku gathered his dishes and dropped them in the sink. He considered sneaking some suds into their dish tub but knew Katsuki would yell at him. He was told to go to bed and when Katsuki was in his caring moods it was best to just do as told. Katsuki knew his routine, having showered back at the agency to avoid bringing the stink of work into Shinsou's apartment (Izuku would never use his friend's shower without permission).

The bed was already turned down, Izuku's electric blanket already turned on and warm. Katsuki had left a water bottle on the bedside table next to Izuku's prescriptions, some painkillers, and a melatonin. There was even a new caramel maple chapstick waiting for him. Izuku smiled fondly at the gestures, taking each medicine between sips of water. He stripped off his clothes and slung on a pair of shorts and one of Katsuki's skull t-shirts. It was an old one from the blonde's highschool years. It didn't fit Katsuki's shoulders anymore yet still draped down Izuku's frame like a dress. Izuku snuggled into the bed, his feet kicking at the comfortable softness as the smell of the lip balm soothed his soul.
