Sequel to 'Loving The Right Person'

---------------------------

It had been so peaceful and romantic these four months since him and Katsuki started dating. The man wasn’t lying when he said he’d make Izuku happy and full of smiles all the time. Izuku didn’t remember the last time his mind drifted off to the dark corner of thoughts because whenever he seemed to be slipping, Katsuki was there to pull him back into his arms.

He had left the apartment him and Shouto shared a day after he unofficially broke up with him. Collecting all his belongings, he happily accepted Katsuki’s kind offer of staying together. Izuku quit his job at the agency and after a few weeks of depending on Katsuki, who didn’t mind at all but Izuku insisted to pay him back in advance, he found a job in another company as an advisor. Since the company was a growing one, his salary wasn’t much but it was more than enough to pay Kacchan back and have some more for his living expenses so it was ok.

He blocked Shouto’s number from his phone because… he was still afraid of his reaction when he found out that Izuku was gone. He knew they’d eventually have to have a conversation and settle things between them but Izuku didn’t deem himself ready yet. After so long time of suffering and hurting, he was finally free of this burden and he wanted to be selfish for this once.

“’zuku, are you waking your lazy ass up or you gonna cover my bed with crumbles again with another breakfast-in-bed? This time you’re changing the sheets.”

Izuku chuckled as the morning sun barely showed itself with all the clouds gathering around it, fall was here already. He smell the humid air signaling a rainy day ahead of them and sighed. He spread himself on the, no, their, king sized bed and closed his eyes. He could smell the delicious meal Kacchan no doubt aced cooking from in here and he could hear the melody the ash-blond was softly humming. ‘If this isn’t the paradise then what is?’ thought the greenette.

A few minutes later, he heard footsteps.

“Hey, who am I talking to here? Your food’s getting cold, nerd. I ain’t cooking you one more if you get it spoiled.”

Despite the attitude, the man was smiling. Izuku looked deeply into his eyes and saw nothing but adoration. He felt loved. It’d been a long time.

“Nah, you would make me another one.”

The man smirked and got closer until he sat next to where the shorter man lied and leaned in, lips only inches apart.

“Oh ho, our little Deku is getting spoiled I see?”

Izuku’s eyes fell half lidded as his words came out melodically.

“What if I am? Are you gonna put me in my place, Ka-tsu-ki?”

Katsuki’s next breath came out as a pant as he slowly bent to close the distance between pink lips…

…only for the door to nearly go off its hinges with how hard it was knocked.

Both Izuku and Katsuki jumped to sit up and look outside their bedroom’s door and then to each other as the answer of who the hell is knocking like their life’s depend on it was written in their faces.

“What the fuck? Who is it this early in the morning?”

“A barbarian as it seems. I’ll take it-”
