Midoriya Izuku and Midoriya Katsuki—names that carried an air of fear and mystery throughout Yuuei High School. Although they were twins, they looked nothing alike.

Izuku had messy green curls, striking emerald eyes, and freckles dotting his face. Katsuki, on the other hand, sported spiky blond hair and piercing ruby-red eyes. His gaze alone could stop anyone in their tracks.

Both were infamous for their cold, anti-social demeanor. Rude, withdrawn, and distrustful, they kept everyone at arm’s length—everyone but each other. They shared a dark past, one so deeply buried that no one else knew the truth. That past had shaped them into who they were.

As children, they had sworn an oath to remain together forever. Relationships? Unnecessary. They only needed each other. Sealing their vow with a blood pact, they promised unwavering loyalty and protection, no matter what.

One afternoon during lunch break, the twins sat at their usual secluded spot—the farthest corner of the schoolyard, well away from the rest of the students. They ate in silence, as always.

Suddenly, a girl approached. She had short brown hair, soft auburn eyes, and pale skin. Her expression was uncertain, her steps hesitant.

“Um... excuse me,” she began quietly. “I’m Uraraka Ochako. I’ve heard a lot about you two, and... I was wondering if I could join you for lunch?”

Izuku and Katsuki exchanged a glance. They knew her—she was in their class—but had never paid her any mind.

“Why?” Izuku asked bluntly. “We don’t need anyone else.”

Ochako flinched, but didn’t back away.

“I know you prefer to be alone,” she said, her voice trembling slightly, “but... maybe we could be friends? You two seem different from everyone else. I’ve always wondered what that’s like.”

The twins exchanged another look. Her honesty caught them off guard. They didn’t expect anyone to want their friendship—especially not someone like her.

“Fine,” Katsuki muttered at last. “But don’t expect us to play nice.” He motioned for her to sit.

With a grateful smile, Ochako sat down. “Thank you. I won’t get in your way. I just thought… maybe we could learn something from each other.”

Izuku eyed her with caution but said nothing.

“So, what’s it like being in the Heroics Club?” she asked after a moment.

“We’ve never cared for that kind of thing,” Izuku replied coolly.

Ochako’s face lit up. “It’s amazing! We train together and help others. It’s not just about becoming heroes—it’s about supporting people when they need it most.”

Izuku scoffed but seemed slightly intrigued. Katsuki leaned in, skeptical. “Why bother? Isn’t there an easier way to make friends?”

Ochako smiled warmly. “Maybe. But being a hero means more than popularity. I want to help people. That’s what drives me.”

Her sincerity was undeniable. Slowly, as their lunches wore on, they began to open up. She asked questions—about their lives, their dreams, even their past. And she listened. Really listened.

Izuku, shy and usually reserved, found himself talking about his dream of becoming a hero—despite lacking a quirk. Ochako listened intently, offering encouragement without pity.

Katsuki was tougher to crack. His guarded nature came from a rough home life and a deep distrust of others. But Ochako’s kindness never faltered, even when he was blunt or distant. Over time, he, too, began to let her in.

Weeks passed. Their lunch meetings became a regular thing, and eventually, they began spending time together outside of school. At first, it was awkward, but soon it felt natural. Comfortable, even.

Their friendship blossomed. The twins began to smile more, talk more, trust more. Ochako’s unwavering support helped them grow. They no longer seemed like shadows on the fringes of school life—they were becoming whole.

By summer’s end, they were inseparable.

To celebrate their friendship, they planned a trip to a quiet beach. There, they laughed, swam, and created memories they believed would last forever.

But fate had other plans.

On their final night, a violent storm hit. Seeking shelter, they stumbled into a nearby cave—unaware it was unstable. The ground trembled… and then collapsed.

Izuku and Katsuki were killed instantly, buried beneath the rubble. Ochako, thrown clear by the force of the collapse, survived—but barely.

She clawed through the debris, crying out for her friends. But it was too late.

Days passed in a blur of grief. Ochako withdrew from the world, her heart shattered. Her laughter faded, replaced by silence. She became distant, mistrustful, a shell of the girl she once was.

Eventually, she sought a fresh start—enrolling in a prestigious university. She focused on her studies, driven by the memory of her friends. Though she made acquaintances, no one could reach the depths of her guarded heart.

Yet, she persevered. Her professors admired her dedication, her resilience. To her peers, she was a mystery—but also an inspiration.

On graduation day, she walked across the stage with quiet pride. Her eyes gleamed—not with joy, but with purpose. She had survived. She had honored her friends.

In the years that followed, Ochako built a meaningful life. She traveled the world, volunteered in orphanages, and brought hope to those who had none. Her success wasn’t measured in fame but in lives touched.

What truly defined her wasn’t her achievements—but her empathy, forged through loss and love. She had become the kind of person Izuku and Katsuki would have been proud of.
