Chapter 17: Anniversary

Brielle's POV

*One Month Later*

"Brielle!" Andy's mom exclaimed, hugging me tightly.

"Hello to you too, mom." Andy chuckled.

"Hi Andy, my son." His mom smiled, hugging him next. "Come in, come in." She said, stepping to the side. We walked in and his dad walked into the entryway.

"Hey son!" His dad smiled and hugged him. "Hey Brielle."

"Hi." I said as he hugged me. We had just landed in Cincinnati an hour ago. We were having dinner with his parents today and then lunch with my parents tomorrow. We were having an early anniversary dinner tomorrow night and then the game was Sunday, on our actual anniversary.

"How was your flight?" His mom asked as we walked to the living room.

"Fine." We said.

"So, what are the plans for the weekend?" She asked.

"Lunch with her parents tomorrow and an anniversary dinner, then the game on Sunday. We fly home on Monday."

"Exciting!" His dad said.

"You're going to come back and see us before you leave, right?" His mom asked.

"Yes mom, of course. We have an afternoon flight, so we'll drop by in the morning."

"Great!" She smiled. We sat and talked for a little bit longer until it was time to go to dinner. We piled into their car and drove to the restaraunt. We walked in and got seated, looking at our menus. We ordered our food and turned our attention to each other.

"So, one year down. When's the wedding?" His mom asked. Andy choked on his water and spit it out.

"Ugh, Andy!" His dad said, wiping the water off of his side of the table.

"Mom!" Andy scolded.

"I know, I know. You two are just so perfect!" She exclaimed.

"Let's just worry about getting through our anniversary, please." Andy said with pleading eyes.

"Okay, okay." She said with a small smirk. We ate our food and they drove us back to their place.

"Time for us to turn in for the night." Andy said as we got out of the car.

"Oh Andy, you're starting to sound like us! Old!" His dad laughed.

"We also just took a five hour flight." Andy smirked.

"Okay, okay. Promise you will see us before you leave?" His mom asked.

"I promise. I love you."

"I love you too Andybear."

"Mommm!" Andy whined, causing her to giggle.

"Bye Brielle." She said, hugging me.

"Bye." I said and then turned to Andy's dad.

"Bye, hope you guys have an amazing weekend." He said as he hugged us. We got into our rental car and Andy drove us to the hotel. I leaned my head against the window and watched the skyline as we drove past it. I smiled, Cincinnati's skyline always made me happy. We made it to the hotel, Andy and I heading up to the room. I flopped onto the big bed, smiling up at the ceiling.

"Andy, I can't get over how amazing this room is!" I said. Andy had gotten us a suite at a fancy hotel. I felt like royalty, laying in the plush bed.

"I can make it more amazing." He smirked, climbing on top of me and passionately kissing me.
