Chapter 28: Apology Date

Brielle's POV

*One Week Later*

"Hey, I want to take you on a date, to say sorry for our fight." Andy said with a smile as he walked into the living room.

"Okay, when?"

"Tonight."

"Oh, wow. Okay. Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

"Well, how do I know what to wear?"

"Nice. Comfortable."

"I guess I can work with that." I laughed. "What time?"

"Six?" He suggested.

"Sounds good to me." I said with a smile.

I pulled on the black dress I was planning to wear for my mystery date tonight. Since it's February, I picked a dress that had long sleeves and went down to my feet. It's not the sexiest dress, but he did say comfortable.

"Are you ready?" Andy asked, walking into the bedroom.

"Yeah, I guess." I sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"Is this dress sexy enough for a date?" I asked. Andy spun me around to face him and grabbed my hips.

"Anything you wear is sexy." He said, leaning down to kiss me. I kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. He pulled back and smiled down at me.

"Let's go." I said, nodding. We left the room and went downstairs. Andy grabbed his keys and we went out to the car. He opened the door for me and I got into the car. He went to his side and got in, starting up the car. He grabbed my hand as he pulled out of the driveway and drove to our first location.

He parked in the parking lot of a nice restaurant. I tried to open the door but he quickly pressed the lock button and he made a noise that was comparable to a buzzer on a game show. He got out and rushed around to my side, opening the door. He held out his hand to help me out of the car. He closed the door and laced his fingers with mine as we walked up to the building.

"Reservation for Biersack." He told the host at the host stand. He grabbed two menus and led us to a table. Andy pulled out my chair and I sat down, allowing him to push my chair in. He sat across from me and we ordered our drinks. We looked through the menu and by the time the waiter came back with our drinks, we knew what we wanted. We ordered and then turned our attention to each other.

"So, in an effort to keep you in the loop, I have a doctor's appointment to get on birth control next week." I told Andy, taking a sip of my water.

"Why? We use condoms." He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Correct, and look at the panic that caused. No, I need something more reliable." I said, shaking my head.

"You know you don't have to, right?"

"I know, I want to. I want the peace of mind."

"Alright, whatever you want baby." He said with a smile. We talked some more and enjoyed our food. After dinner, we went back to the car. He started driving, and kept driving until we got to the beach.

"The beach? Andy, it's February!"

"We don't have to get in the water." He said and got out, opening my door. He helped me out and then he quickly went into the backseat, grabbing a backpack and slinging it over his shoulder.

"A backpack?" I questioned.

"Can't you just be surpised?" He laughed.

"No, I've got anxiety." I chuckled.

"Well be surprised." He said, grabbing my hand. We walked through the parking lot and to the sand. We took off our shoes and walked barefoot in the sand. He found a spot on the sand and put the backpack down. He zipped it open and pulled out a blanket, laying it out on the sand. He sat down and I sat next to him.

I cuddled into his side as he wrapped his arm around me. I listened to the waves crashing against the shore mixed with the sound of Andy's heartbeat. I felt my breathing slow as a sense of calm washed over me. He slowly rubbed my back. If I wanted to, I could fall asleep right here. Suddenly, Andy pulled his arm away, pulling me out of my serene paradise.

"Let's take a walk." He said. I sat up, allowing him to stand up and then he helped me to my feet. We left our stuff on the blanket and walked barefoot along the sand, the cool winter air blowing on us. We interlaced our fingers, walking silently, the sound of the waves. We eventually made it back to the blanket. We packed up our stuff and went back to the car. He drove us home and we walked into the house.

He dropped his backpack in the entry way and I wrapped my arms around him, giving him a kiss. He kissed me back, drawing it out.

"Come on, let's end this night the right way." He smirked, kissing me one more time before grabbing my hand and leading me up the stairs.
