Chapter 47: Wedding

Brielle's POV

"Sienna, I'm spiraling." I said, trying to shake my nerves out through my hands.

"Don't." She said, causing me to glare at her and she just laughed. "Why?"

"Why wouldn't I be? I mean, this is such a big step! It's such a big life change! This is forever, oh my god!"

"It's a life change you're ready for, Bri. This is what we've dreamed about since we were 13!" She said, walking over to me and grabbing me by my shoulders. "You and Andy are so good for each other. You guys are so ready for this. It's the next natural step in your relationship. You guys are going to have a long, happy marriage."

"Thanks." I said, taking a deep breath.

"Are you sure I should be one of the first down the aisle? I don't need to be in the back to kick you down that aisle?"

"I'm sure."

"You aren't going to leave Andy at the altar, are you?"

"Of course not."

"Good, I'm going to hold you to it." She smiled, hugging me. There was a knock on the door of my bridal suite and Sienna went to go check who it was. After a few seconds, the door opened and my dad walked in.

"Aren't you stunning!" My dad complimented.

"Thank you, daddy." I smiled, hugging him.

"Well, it's about time. Are we ready?" He asked the room. The girls nodded and stood up. We left the bridal suite and started walking to the ceremony space. The girls lined up with their partner while my dad and I stood around a corner. I heard the music begin and Andy started walking. One by one, pairs walked down the aisle until my flower girl started down the aisle. I felt my heart start to race and I guess my dad felt me tense up because he softly rubbed my back.

"It's going to be okay." He said quietly. "Andy is the man I dreamed you would marry. He's as close to perfect as you can get."

"Thank you dad." I smiled, tears in my eyes. "Damnit, I can't start crying now." I laughed, trying to carefully dab at my eyes. My dad took a tissue out of his pocket and carefully dabbed at my eyes for me.

"You knew I wouldn't get through this day without crying." He laughed, stuffing the tissue back into his pocket. Suddenly, I heard the music change and my heart started to race again. "You're okay." My dad said as he locked arms with me and we walked around the corner. Everyone was standing and turned to face me. I took deep breaths as we walked down the aisle.

Halfway down the aisle, I realized Andy was crying. He was trying to hold it together, but I can tell he just wanted to blubber like a baby. He had tears streaming down his cheeks and a giant smile on his face. As we got closer, I noticed he had his bottom lip pulled into his teeth. I giggled slightly at his nervous tick.

We finally made it to the end of the aisle and Andy and I stared at each other for a moment, taking in this moment. I couldn't seem to pull my eyes away from his as the officiant began speaking.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here on this beautiful day to witness the union of Andy and Brielle in holy matrimony. This is a day of great celebration and reverence, on which we come together before the Universe to recognize and commemorate the sacred love and dedication shared between these two people. It is wonderful to have family and friends here to join us today. The Groom and Bride would like to thank their guests for being here, and would like you to know that each of you were invited here on this day because you have played an integral part in their intertwining lives. In the time that Andy and Brielle have spent together, they've built the sturdy foundation for a lifelong relationship. After a great deal of thoughtful consideration, they have decided to bind themselves to one another for the rest of their lives. May you all remember and cherish this sacred ceremony, for on this day, with love, we will forever bind Andy and Brielle together." The officiant began.
