Chapter 104

Andy's POV

*One Year Later*

"DADDY!"

"MADI!" I copied her as I picked her up and swung her around. I stopped spinning and held her close, kissing her cheek.

"I missed you!"

"I missed you too, bug," I said as I hugged her close. As always, Sienna had brought her to our LA show. I carried Madi onto the bus with Sienna's family following behind me. The guys greeted Madi and gave her big hugs.

We were finishing up our latest tour, having only 3 more shows and then we would be home. This tour kind of fell at the wrong time, because when I get home, Madi will only have one more week of school and then she'll be on summer break. I wished this tour had been pushed a couple months so that Madi could've joined us. As weird as it may sound, I missed having her on tour with us. It was something I enjoyed doing with my daughter and I know she liked watching me perform.

Madi is starting to get used to me being on tour without her. This is the third tour, and she usually only cries when I first leave. She typically doesn't cry when she sees me at the LA date when I have to leave.

We hung out on the bus until it was time to go to the venue. The guys and I got ready while Sienna and Sterling watched the kids.

"Daddy!" Madi exclaimed as I walked over to them.

"Hey, do I look stage ready?" I asked her.

"Yes!" she smiled with a thumbs up. "Can we take a picture? I want to show my friends at school. We have show and tell coming up!"

"Of course!" I said, pulling out my phone. I gave Sienna my phone and stood next to Madi. I bent down almost to her height, putting up the rock sign. She did the same and we smiled as Sienna snapped the picture.

"I'll print it out for you to take to school," Sienna told Madi.

"Thank you!" she smiled.

Eventually, we went out on stage and performed our set list. Like always, I brought Madi and Brianna out for In The End. They did their usual thing, dancing on the risers, and singing the very end with me. We ended the show and I ushered the girls off of the stage.

"So, how was it?" I asked Madi.

"Great!" she smiled, giving me another thumbs up. "But, why does everyone cry for those two songs?" she wondered. I immediately knew which songs she was talking about.

"What do you mean everyone?" I asked.

"Your voice sounds different and Sienna is always crying."

"Well, I wrote those songs after your mommy died. I play them every show to honor her. They're sad songs, but they hold a lot of meaning."

"Oh, okay," she said. When everyone went back to the bus, I walked out to the car with Sienna and Sterling.

"I'll be home in just a few days."

"Okay," she smiled, hugging me around the neck. I hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

"I love you Madibug."

"I love you too daddy," she said as I placed her in her car seat.
