Chapter 67: This Is Bad

Brielle's POV

*One Week Later*

I was watching TV on the couch when there was a rapid, loud knock at the door. I paused the TV and felt my heart start to race. Andy was at the studio so I was home alone. I quietly stood up and walked slowly to the door.

"BRIELLE!" I heard from the other side of the door. I quickly recognized the voice as Sienna. I started to calm down and checked the peephole just in case. I confirmed it was her and opened the door. She rushed in and I closed the door.

"Uhm," I said, confused.

"This is bad, this is bad!" Sienna said, pacing around my entryway.

"Woah, slow down and help me understand what is going on," I said, grabbing her and holding her by her shoulders to keep her still.

"Brielle," She cried, looking at me with tears in her eyes.

"Sienna, what the fuck is going on? Did somebody die? Oh my god, did you murder someone? I'll help you hide the body!"

"Brielle! This is serious!" She cried, slapping my arm.

"Okay, then tell me what the fuck is going on!"

"I-Is Andy home?"

"No, he's at the studio all day," I said. She sighed and grabbed my hand, dragging me to the living room. We sat on the couch and she put her head in her hands, letting out a loud groan.

"You jinxed me," She cried.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I questioned.

"Fuck!" She cried out.

"Sienna, tell me so I can help you!"

"You can't help me?"

"Why no-"

"I'M PREGNANT!" She blurted out and we went silent. The silence was broken by Sienna breaking into sobs.

"I-uhm-oh," I said, absolutely speechless. "Does Sterling not want kids?"

"He does!"

"O-Okay?" I said, still confused.

"But not now!"

"Sienna, you're engaged, it's not like you met a week ago. I don't think he's going to be mad."

"But what if he is?"

"Sienna, he's your fiancé. You need to tell him. He loves you so much. I'm sure he's going to be ecstatic."

"What about our wedding?"

"Have you put any deposits down yet?"

"No."

"Okay, so you push it."

"I can't believe this," She groaned.

"It's going to be okay, I promise. You need to tell him though."

"Okay," She sniffled, nodding her head.

"Do you need me to come with you?"

"No, I can do it."

"Okay, you need to call me as soon as you're done. If for some reason I'm wrong, you know you always have a room here that's open to you. If Sterling gets mad, then he's not the man you need to be marrying."

"You're right Bri, thank you," She said, giving me a small smile as she wiped her eyes.

"Plus, now we can be pregnancy buddies," I laughed. "We're only 4 months apart, our kids will be in the same grade!"

"I guess you got your wish," She laughed slightly. "I guess I should go."

"Promise me you're going to tell him, tonight."

"I promise," She said as she stood up. I stood up too and hugged her tightly. I walked her to the door and opened it. "Thank you Bri."

"You're welcome," I smiled as she walked back out to her car.

I was watching TV an hour later when I got a call.

"Hello?" I answered, seeing it was Sienna.

"You were right."

"He was happy?"

"Yes."

"Told you so," I teased. "I'm happy for you, Sienna. I know it's earlier than you wanted, but I know you're going to be a great mother. I can tell that Sterling's going to be a great dad, too."

"Thank you. At least you'll be able to share some of your experience with me."

"Definitely," I laughed. "Do you mind if I tell Andy?"

"Not at all," She said. We talked a bit more before hanging up.

"I'm home!" Andy called as I was cooking dinner.

"Hi! Dinner's almost ready!" I called.

"You should really be relaxing," He said, standing behind me and wrapping his arms around me, placing his hands on my bump.

"I finally feel better. I'm going to continue to do things until I get absolutely too uncomfortable. Then I'll relax."

"Fine," He sighed, kissing me on top of my head. "What'd you do today?" He asked, going into the fridge for some water.

"Watched TV. Made some lunch. Talked Sienna off of a ledge. You know, normal stuff," I smirked at him.

"Hold on, rewind. Sienna?"

"Yeah, she came over here pounding on the door, freaked the fuck out."

"What was wrong."

"Well," I started, "she's pregnant."

"What?" He asked with a shocked expression.

"I know. She was over here freaking out. I had to calm her down and convince her to tell Sterling."

"Did she?"

"Yup. He was happy, like I told her he would be."

"Wow, so you guys are going to be pregnant together?"

"Looks that way, our kids will be in the same grade."

"That must be exciting."

"Very," I said with a smile.
