Chapter 89: Don't Say Goodbye Tonight and Leave Forever

Andy's POV

*Two Months Later*

"Who's my pretty girl," I cooed to Madi as I laid on the floor with her. She giggled in response, eliciting a smile from me. She started grunting as she used her hands to roll herself over. I clapped, quietly cheering for her.

Madi was now 5 1/2 months old and has been growing so fast. Almost too fast. I now see what parents mean when they say their kids are growing up too fast.

I had reluctantly decided to go on tour shortly after I met up with Jake and Jinxx. Madi has been doing well and she'll be okay for a few months while I go on tour. We leave next month for a three month national tour. When we get back, we'll start making our next record which will give us a long break.

Mine and Brielle's parents agreed to help take care of Madi. Brielle's parents will fly out and take care of her for the first month, and then my parents will come out and take care of her for the second month. Brielle's parents will come back for the third month. I was so grateful for their help because there was no way I'd be able to go on tour without someone that I can trust watching Madi.

I eventually want to take Madi on tour with me, but there's no way I'm taking her while she's still in diapers. The bus already smells bad enough with 5 men living on the bus. She'll probably start going with me when she's around 3 years old.

Last month, we released the two songs I wrote with Jinxx and Jake as an EP. We titled it Beautiful Pain. We received a tremendous amount of support over the songs and the fans quickly caught on that the songs were about Brielle. We agreed to donate a portion of proceeds from the EP to a preeclampsia foundation to help with research into the condition that killed Brielle.

My time with Madi was interrupted by my phone ringing. I saw it was Sienna and picked it up. Her baby was due any day, so I had been expecting a call from her. Her and Sterling had picked out a name, but weren't sharing it until the baby was born.

I think she's slightly traumatized from Brielle not getting the chance to officially name Madi, even though I ended up honoring her wishes in the end. Sienna had struggled with her pregnancy since Brielle's death, the littlest thing sending her into a frenzy and causing a hospital trip "just in case". Most of the time, Sterling took her, but there were a few times I had to take her.

She would call me frequently to check if her symptoms were normal and if Brielle had experienced anything similar. Her pregnancy was healthy the entire time, despite her constant worrying. She was sent home with a clean bill of health every single time.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi Andy! So, the baby was born yesterday."

"What!" I exclaimed. I was expecting the call to be her telling me she was in labor or that she had just had the baby.

"Sorry! Sterling and I were just so wrapped up in our excitement and our little girl!"

"Don't worry, I'm not mad. Just shocked. This was not the call I was expecting to get," I laughed.

"Well, we were wondering if you wanted to come meet her. We were sent home earlier today and I'm so eager to share her name with you!"

"I would love to! When?"

"Anytime."

"Can I show up in an hour?"

"Sure thing! See you then!"

"Congratulations! Bye!" I said as we hung up.

I knocked on Sienna's door, Sterling opening it up with a smile. He looked extremely tired and frazzled.

"Hey," Sterling smiled.

"Hey, how are you holding up?" I asked as I walked into their house. He just made a noise, making me laugh slightly.

"Sienna's on the couch," Sterling said, leading me to the living room. We rounded the corner to the living room. Sienna was sitting on the couch next to an infant laid out on the couch.

"Andy!" Sienna said happily.

"Hey," I said, lowering my voice as to not wake the baby. I sat on the other couch, placing Madi's car seat at my feat.

"Can I see my Madi girl?" Sienna asked and I nodded. I lifted Madi out of her car seat and handed her to Sienna. "Oh my, you're getting so big!" Sienna said.

"I know," I said quietly.

"I'm already begging to be out of the newborn phase," Sienna laughed.

"It's rough, but watching them grow up is also difficult."

"True, god, I can already imagine her graduating high school."

"Woah, slow down there Sienna, she's a day old," Sterling laughed.

"So, do you want to know the name?" Sienna asked as she handed Madi back to me.

"Of course!"

"Okay, so I wanted to honor Brielle but someone already took the name Brielle and two best friends obviously can't have the same name," Sienna rambled.

"How do you deal with her?" I joked, looking at Sterling.

"Very carefully," he laughed, earning a glare from Sienna.

"Ugh! I miss Brielle! Boys suck!" she groaned.

"Continue," I prompted her.

"Brianna Marie Davis. Brianna as a nod to Brielle, and Marie because-"

"It was her middle name," I finished her sentence for her, looking down at my feet. "It's perfect Sienna."

"Thank you, I was hoping you'd like it."

"I love it," I said, looking up at her with a smile.
