Chapter 64: When I Let Go Of Your Heart
Brielle's POV
The next day we arrived in Cincinnati. Everyone had woken up and migrated to the lounge, but I was still in the bunk. I was so nervous to see our parents. I was worried that they would be able to tell something was up. It doesn't help that I'm still sick and I am so tired. I knew I should've spent yesterday resting so that I was fully rested today. Our parents were showing up after sound check so that we could go to lunch.
"Brielle, we are about to leave for sound check. Do you want to come?" Andy asked, opening the curtain to our bunk.
"No, I should stay and rest."
"Okay, I love you." He smiled, kissing my forehead.
"I love you too." I said as he closed the curtain. I laid in the bunk until Andy returned. I heard the guys come back onto the bus and heard additional voices.
"Let me go get Brielle." Andy said as he came into the bunk room.
"Brielle." He said, opening the curtain again. "Our parents are in the lounge. You need to get ready."
"Ugh." I groaned. "Am I wrong?" I questioned in a whisper.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Should we tell them?"
"It's up to you. I understand where your anxiety is coming from. If you want to tell them, we can. If you want to wait, we can do that as well." He said.
"Ugh, you're no help." I sighed as I sat up.
"Sorry." He mumbled.
"I'm sorry." I said, shaking my head. "I'm just cranky."
"Again, you're growing a human." He whispered with a chuckle, putting his hand on my stomach.
"Let me get dressed." I said and he nodded, leaving the bunk room. I pulled on a big t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I went into the bathroom and ran a brush through my hair, pulling it into a ponytail. I left and walked out to the lounge.
"Brielle!" My mom exclaimed, getting up from her spot on the couch and hugging me.
"Hi mom." I said, hugging her. I turned to my dad and greeted him, hugging him as well. I turned around, hugging and greeting Andy's parents as well.
"Well, I'm starving." Andy laughed.
"Let's go!" My mom said. The six of us walked off of the bus and down to the restaurant. We were seated and sat in silence while we looked through the menu. We ordered and then turned our attention to each other.
"So Brielle, this is your second tour, right?" Amy asked and I nodded.
"How are you liking tour?" Chris asked.
"It's fun." I smiled. "It's nice to not have to miss Andy for three months." I laughed. We kept talking until our food came. We were silent for the first few minutes as we ate and then continued talking. After a few bites, I had to stop, because I felt it trying to come up. I sat up straight and took a deep breath, trying to close my eyes. Andy noticed and lightly rubbed my back.
"Are you okay Brielle?" My mom asked.
"I'm fine, I just had a big breakfast and I'm still full." I said. I sat while the five of them talked, trying to ignore the desire to sprint to the bathroom.
"Oh look at the time, I need to go get ready for VIP." Andy said, signaling the waitress for the check. Andy paid and we all got up, walking back to the bus. I put my left overs in the small fridge in the bus and followed Andy to the bunks while our parents sat in the lounge.
