Chapter 57: Paris

Brielle's POV

The next morning, we woke up in Paris. I stretched my limbs the best I could in the small bunk and looked at Andy who was still sleeping.

"Andy." I whispered, shaking him awake.

"Hmm?" He mumbled.

"Good morning." I said. A smile spread across his face as his eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning." He said, giving me a kiss. We got out of the bunk and got dressed. "Want to find a little café for breakfast?" He asked me.

"Sure!" I said with a smile. We had a full day in Paris for sightseeing before their show tomorrow. We slipped on some shoes and left the bus, walking down the sidewalk to a nearby open-air café. We were seated at a small table outside and looked through the menu. We ordered and our food was delivered as we started eating.

"My god." I said. "This is so good."

"Yes it is." He chuckled. The cool breeze felt nice and calming as we ate. We finished our food, paid, and went to our first stop. The first place we were going to see was the Eiffel Tower. We had obtained tickets to go up the tower. I was amazed at the breathtaking view of the city. I rested my head on Andy's bicep as we leaned on the railing, looking out on the city together.

We went back to the bottom and went to our next stop. We walked to the Pont des Arts bridge, which used to be known as the Love Lock Bridge. People would come and attach locks to the bridge, throwing the key into the river to resemble eternal love. They changed the bridge so that locks could not be attached to the bridge anymore.

"The view of the river is so pretty." I said, leaning against the railing of the bridge. "I wish they still allowed locks." I said, running my fingers along the side of the bridge.

"When there's a will, there's a way." Andy winked, pulling a padlock out of his pocket. In sharpie, he had written A+B and our wedding date.

"What are you going to do with that?" I questioned. He walked over to a light pole that had a bike lock wrapped around it, a bunch of locks attached to it. He attached our lock and locked it, holding the small key in his hand. "We're going to get arrested!" I hissed.

"Shh." He chuckled, walking back over to me. He kissed the key and then held it out to me. "Kiss it." He said. I rolled my eyes with a smile and kissed it. Andy threw the key into the river and we watched as it sunk to the bottom.

"Now our love will last forever." He said, wrapping his arm around me and pulling me close to his body. He kissed the top of my head and snuggled into his body. "With the love of my life in the city of love." He said quietly. I looked up at him and he leaned down, softly kissing my lips. We stood there kissing for a while, the rest of the world disappearing. It felt like we were the only two people for miles. We finally broke and smiled softly at each other. My heart swelled as I looked up at the man I loved.

"Let's go." He said, taking my hand. We walked to the Louvre, the art museum where the Mona Lisa was kept. We walked through the museum, admiring the art that was hung and finally seeing the Mona Lisa in person. The painting was smaller than I expected, but still breathtaking to see in real life.

After we left the museum, we got some lunch at another open-air restaurant. After lunch, we went to see the Palace of Versailles. We walked around, looking at the amazing architecture and design. Afterwards, we went to go see the Notre Dame cathedral. It was absolutely amazing. We did a few more things around Paris and then ate a delicious dinner.

After dinner, we took a sunset boat tour on the Seine river, listening to the tour guide give us history of the city and the architecture surrounding us. We went past the Eiffel Tower once it was dark and saw it all lit up and shimmering. Somehow, it was even more beautiful at night than during the day. After we got off the boat, we walked back to the Eiffel Tower to see it lit up from the ground.

We returned back to the bus, no one in the lounge.

"Hello?" Andy called, opening the bunk door. Still no response. He knocked on the bathroom door, again, no one. Andy turned to face me with a smirk. "I guess we're alone." He said, walking closer to me and grabbing my hips. He leaned down and kissed me, the kiss quickly turning deep and passionate. He lifted me off of my feet and my legs wrapped around his waist. He walked to the bunk room and laid me in our bunk, climbing on top of me.
