Chapter 26: Scare

Brielle's POV

*One Month Later*

"I'm fucking freaking outtttt." I said, pushing past Sienna and walking into her apartment.

"Why?" She asked, closing the door and looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm late." I said.

"Late?" She questioned.

"Late." I emphasized. She still looked at me confused and then I saw realization hit her face.

"Oh. Oh. OH! OH SHIT!" She said and I nodded.

"I can't breathe." I said, moving to sit on her couch. I put my head in my hands, feeling myself being to hyperventilate.

"Have you taken a test?"

"No."

"Well, what are we waiting for?"

"I'm terrified." I said, shaking my head.

"Brielle, you need to know."

"I know, I know." I sighed.

"Come on, let's go." She said, grabbing her car keys. I stood up and followed her out of the apartment and down the stairs. We got in the car and drove silently to the store. We rushed in and went to the pregnancy test aisle. I stood, staring at the hundreds of options, starting to feel the room spin.

"H-How do I know which one to get?" I asked. Sienna groaned and grabbed a few boxes from different brands and started walking to the register. I followed her and we paid, going back to the car. We drove to her apartment and went back upstairs.

"Here." She said, handing me the bag.

"I can't do this." I said, shaking my head.

"Brielle, you have to. You have to know." She said. I took a deep breath and grabbed the bag from her, walking into the bathroom. I closed the door and started opening the boxes. Once I had taken all of the tests, I walked out and sat on the couch.

"What am I going to do?" I asked.

"You don't know if you're actually pregnant."

"I'm late, Sienna. I'm never late."

"There's so many reasons for that."

"How the hell could this have happened? Oh my god, things were going so good!"

"Does Andy not want kids?"

"He does! I'm not ready though." I said, shaking his head.

"Well, that's good that Andy want skids. Maybe he'll be happy." She shrugged.

"I'm not ready for kids. I can barely take care of myself. I'm not married. Fuck!"

"You don't have to be married, Bri."

"But I want to. This is not what I pictured for my life at all."

"What kind of protection are you using?"

"Just condoms."

"That's how this happened!" She said and I raised my eyebrow. "You gotta put up double defenses. You have to get on something."

"I know." I groaned. "I just keep putting it off." As soon as I finished speaking, the timer went off. "Fuck, I can't look." I said, shaking my head. Sienna stood up and walked into the bathroom.

"Uhm, Bri." She said cautiously.

"That doesn't sound like a negative!"

"It's not quite a positive either, just get your ass in here!" I stood up and walked into the bathroom, looking down at the tests. Half were positive and half were negative.
