Chapter 68: Names
Brielle's POV
*One Month Later*
"We need to start thinking of names," I told Andy as I walked into his home studio where he spent a lot of his time. I sat in a chair that was in the room as he turned around to face me.
"Okay," He said.
"Have you been thinking about any?"
"Kind of," he shrugged.
"My top pick is Madeline," I said dreamily. "We could call her Madi for short."
"Hmm, let's keep thinking," he smirked. "How about Alyssa?" he suggested and I shook my head.
"Kayla?"
"That's the name of my fake internet daughter, no," He laughed. "Hannah?"
"So common! Elizabeth?"
"Talk about common. Sierra?"
"Too close to Sienna. Amanda?" I tried. We spent next the fifteen minutes going back and forth with different names, unable to agree on a single one. "This is hopeless!" I groaned, throwing my hands up in the air.
"We've got time," he reassured.
"Let's go through this list," I said, googling a list of 100 baby girl names. We spent the next hour going through every name on the list, and then through 3 more lists. We didn't find a single one that either of us liked, for a first or a middle name. "I guess our baby will just be nameless." I sighed.
"Babe, you're only five months pregnant. We have time to think. We can take our time picking out the perfect name for our perfect little girl," he said, resting his hand on my growing bump.
"These next four months are going to fly by. I mean, I'm already the size of a fucking semi truck!" I sighed.
"You are not!" he said with a laugh. "Maybe we just wait until she's born, she if a name comes to us once we see her beautiful face."
"That sounds like torture for my anxiety. I can't go into the hospital not having a name picked out for my baby."
"Don't make me tell on you to Sienna," he smirked.
"She would agree with me! You forgot that she's pregnant too!"
"No, she would agree with me."
"Mhmm, sure," he said, pulling out his phone and dialing Sienna's number, putting it on speaker. The phone rang a few times before we heard Sienna's voice.
"Andy?" Sienna questioned. Fair enough, he usually only calls her when something's wrong.
"Hey, help us solve an argument," Andy said.
"Oh god, what now?" she laughed. She is often a mediator in our lame arguments.
"Andy and I were talking about baby names just now and we absolutely can't agree. He suggested that we wait until she's born but I think that is absolutely ridiculous!"
"Sorry Bri, I think I agree with Andy on this one."
"Siennaaaaaa!" I whined.
"Bri, you're five months pregnant. You have all of the time in the world! A name will come to you, and you'll know it's the right name."
"Ugh, you're no help!" I groaned.
"I think she was very helpful," Andy said smugly.
"Have you started thinking of names, Sienna?"
"Girl, you know I've had a list of names since I was 15," she laughed.
"What if Sterling doesn't like them?"
"I'll have to kill him," she said matter-of-factly, making Andy and I laugh. "Kidding, kidding, mostly. He'll break my heart though so, it is in his best interest to agree with at least one of them."
"Okay," Andy said, a scared look on his face, making me laugh.
"Have you guys come up with at least a top 10?"
"I really love the name Madeline," I answered.
"I have literally no clue. Surprise, surprise, guys don't really sit around all day and think of baby names," Andy laughed.
"Well, you're going to be a father soon, you should start thinking of them," I said.
"I will, I will," he said, leaning over to give me a kiss.
