Chapter 66: Appointment

Brielle's POV

*One Month Later*

"Are you excited?" I asked Andy, holding his hand.

"Of course," he smiled, letting go of my hand and placing it on my growing bump. "We get to see our baby today," he said, leaning over and kissing the top of my head.

"Brielle Biersack," the nurse called, walking into the waiting room. Andy and I stood up and followed her through the door. She took my height and weight and then led me to a room. She got a bit of information from me and then pulled a paper gown out from a cabinet. 

"Go ahead and put this on. The ultrasound tech will be in shortly," she said and left the room. I quickly changed and got up on the table, waiting and talking with Andy. The door opened five minutes later and a woman walked in, pushing an ultrasound machine.

"Hello, I'm just going to get a look at your baby," she said, turning on the machine and sitting on a stool. Since we were on tour, I never had an initial prenatal appointment, so this one was a combination of my prenatal appointment and a gender scan.

She squeezed the gel onto my belly and moved the transducer around, looking up at the screen. Andy held my hand as we sat and waited.

"There's baby, would you like to see?" she asked and I nodded. She turned the screen so we could see and pointed out the white blob. I blinked away tears and looked at Andy who also had tears in his eyes. He smiled at me and gave my hand a squeeze. "I'm just going to do some measurements," she said.

"Are we able to find out the gender?" I asked.

"Yes, give me a moment," she said. "You guys are having a baby girl!" she said and I looked at Andy who had a huge smile on his face. The tech finished what she needed to do and then pressed a button, the machine spitting something out. "Here you are!" she said, handing us our ultrasound picture.

"Oh my god," I said quietly.

"Your doctor will be in soon," she said, handing me a towel to wipe off my stomach with. She turned off the machine and wheeled it out of the room.

After my appointment, Andy and I walked back to the car hand in hand. We sat in the car and I stared down at the picture, still in disbelief that we were actually going to be parents. I looked over at Andy who was just staring at the picture in my hands.

"Are you excited that we are having a girl?" I asked.

"So excited," he said with a genuine smile. "She's going to be so fucking spoiled," he laughed.

"You are going to be the best dad," I said, leaning over and kissing him.

"You are going to be the best mom," he said, reaching out and placing his hand on my bump.

"Can we go tell Sienna?" I asked and he nodded as he started up the car. We drove over to Sienna and Sterling's place and I jumped out of the car as soon as it was stopped. I sprinted up to Sienna's door and knocked.

"Oh my god, Brielle, hi! Calm down," she laughed.

"We just went to our first appointment!" I exclaimed, flashing the ultrasound pictures.

"Oh my god!" she said, grabbing the pictures from my hand and looking at them. "I'm still so happy for you Brielle! Oh my god!" she said, smiling at me as Andy showed up behind me.

"We also found out today that we're having a girl."

"OH MY GOD!" Sienna screamed, pulling me into a hug. "You are going to be the best girl mom!" she exclaimed.

"Now you just need to get pregnant with a girl so they can be best friends!" I laughed.

"If you wanted a pregnancy pact, you should've waited," she laughed. "We are doing everything possible to not get pregnant right now. I'm totally not ready."

"No fun," I laughed, sticking my tongue out at her.

"I'm good with just living vicariously through you," she laughed.

"Anyway, I just wanted to share my news with you. I should be getting home."

"Alright," she said, hugging me. Andy and I walked to the car and we drove home. I plopped onto the couch and propped my feet onto the coffee table. Andy sat next to me and wrapped his arm around me.

"Do we want to tell our parents?" he asked.

"Sure," I smiled. I pulled out my phone and invited my mom to a video chat. She answered and I saw her smiling face pop up on my phone.

"Brielle! Hi! How's the baby?" she asked.

"Good, growing," I laughed, moving the camera so she could see my bump.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so excited!" she exclaimed. "What's up?" she asked.

"We found out the gender today and we want to tell you guys," I said as I fixed the camera so Andy and I were in frame.

"Yay! Let me get your dad. Hi Andy!" she said quickly.

"Hi!" Andy waved.

"BRIAN!" my mom called.

"I'm going to add Andy's parents to the call, hold on," I said, tapping a few buttons and adding Andy's mom.

"Hi Brielle! Hi Andy!" his mom greeted.

"Hi! We found out the gender today and wanted to tell you guys! My parents are on the call too," I explained.

"Let me grab Chris," she said. Once both dads had joined the call, our parent said hello to each other.

"Alright, well don't make us wait any longer!" my mom exclaimed.

"We are having a baby girl," I said with a huge smile and our moms squealed.

"The pink!" my mom exclaimed.

"Oh, how sweet!" his mom cooed.

"Are you guys excited?" his dad asked.

"Very," Andy said with a smile. We talked with our parents a little longer before ending the call.

"I love you so much," Andy said, kissing my cheek and rubbing my belly. "I'm so excited for our little girl."

"Me too," I giggled, turning my head and kissing his lips.
