Chapter 49: Movies
Brielle's POV
*One Month Later*
"I want to take my beautiful wife on a date tonight." Andy smiled as he skipped into the living room where I was sitting.
"Where?" I asked, turning my attention to him.
"The movies."
"What movie?"
"There's a new action film called Memory, looks interesting." He shrugged.
"Alright."
"Dinner after?" He suggested and I nodded.
"Sounds like the perfect night." I smiled.
"Leave at 5?" He questioned.
"Well, I better get ready." I laughed, looking at my phone to see it was 4. I stood up and walked up the stairs. I pulled on a white spaghetti strap tank top and blue ripped jeans. I pulled my hair out of the ponytail it was in and brushed it, deciding to leave it alone. I applied light makeup and added a few pieces of jewelry. I grabbed a light sweater in case I got cold and slipped on black flats.
I walked down the stairs, Andy sitting on the couch and scrolling through his phone. He was dressed in the same thing he had come down in, a Misfits shirt and black, ripped jeans.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yup." He said. He went to where most of our shoes were kept at and pulled on black and white Converse. He grabbed his keys and we left the house. He opened my car door and I got in, buckling my seatbelt as he closed my door and went to his side, getting in. He grabbed my hand as he pulled out of the driveway and started driving to the theater. He parked and we got out of the car, walking up to the ticket booth.
"Hello, my wife and I would like two tickets for Memory at 5:30." He told the employee. He pulled out his car and paid, two tickets spitting out of the machine. She ripped them off the roll and handed them through the window. He grabbed my hand as we walked into the theater, showing our tickets to the employee at the front.
"My wife and I are going to see Memory." He smiled proudly, putting emphasis on wife.
"To the left, theater 15." The employee said. Andy thanked him and we walked up to the concession stand.
"What do you want?" Andy asked.
"Do you want to share a popcorn?" I asked and he nodded. "A medium Sprite and these." I said, grabbing Twizzlers off of the shelf. He took them from me and gave me a quick peck on the lips. We waited in line until it was our turn on the shelf.
"My wife and I would like a large popcorn, a medium sprite, a medium coke, and these." He said, placing the Twizzlers and the candy he chose on the counter. Andy paid and received the items he had ordered. We buttered our popcorn and then headed down to our theater, settling into the seats while the previews played.
"What's with all the wife stuff?" I asked with a giggle.
"I still can't believe that you're my wife. It's been a whole month and I'm in awe! I'm in love with you Bri, and I'm so happy that you're mine forever." He gushed with a cheesy smile.
"Awhh." I smiled, wrapping my arm around him and giving him a small hug. "I love you so much Andy." I said, looking up at him.
"I love you too, so so much." He said, kissing me.
