Chapter 96: First Tour
Andy's POV
*Two Years Later*
"Madi!" CC exclaimed as he walked up to where we were sitting. He squatted down and opened his arms.
"Ucle CC!" she exclaimed, jumping out of her seat and running to him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close.
"How have you been little Biersack?" he asked as he pulled away from her.
"Good," she said with a big smile. "Hi Aunt Awex," she said, looking at CC's wife.
"Hey girly, you ready to hang out for the next few months?" Alex asked her and she nodded her head quickly. Madi made her way back over to me and climbed back into her seat.
We were at the airport, waiting for our flight to our first city for tour. This was going to be Madi's first tour and I was so excited. Luckily, Alex agreed to come along and watch Madi when I'm needed on stage, for interviews, or at VIP. Madi was now 3 and a half and was looking more like Brielle every day.
I'm not going to lie, while I was excited to have Madi on the bus with me, I was nervous as well. Living on a bus for three months is hard enough for me, I can only imagine the toll it will take on a 3 year old. I've already arranged for my parents to watch her if it gets to be too much. I know that she'll be going to school soon, so she won't have many chances to tour with me. I wanted her to come on tour as much as she could.
Once our flight was boarding, I held Madi's small hand in my large one as I handed our boarding passes over to be scanned. We walked down the jet bridge and onto the plane. I found our seats and let her climb into the one by the window while I put my carry-on in the overhead bin. I sat in the middle seat next to her and tried to grab the seatbelt she was fumbling with.
"No! I wanna do it!" she complained as she continued to smash the wrong ends together.
"Madi, please. I don't want you to get hurt," I tried.
"NO!" she screamed, still smashing the metal pieces together. Like I expected, she managed to get her thumb between the pieces that she was clashing together. "OW!" she cried out, dropping the pieces and clutching her thumb close to her body as she wailed. I sighed and quickly buckled her in, tightening the belt. I then grabbed her hand in mine and kissed her slightly red thumb.
"All better," I said, praying she would sleep on this flight. We had to get up early so I know she was tired. Her tears dried up as she sniffled, wiping her nose with the back of her hand.
The plane took off and she looked out the window with amazement as we soared through the clouds. We were only in the air for five minutes before she was out like a light. We landed and I gently woke her up, hoping she was more rested after her nap.
"Madi, wake up, we're here," I told her. Her eyes fluttered open and she let out a big yawn.
"Come on cutie," I said, unbuckling her seatbelt. I stood up and grabbed my carry-on, taking her hand in mine. I led her off the plane and into the airport. I met up with the guys and we walked to baggage claim, waiting for our bags.
"I'm boreedddddd," Madi whined.
"We just need our bags," I told her.
"I want to go now!" she complained, stomping her foot.
"Madi," I sighed through gritted teeth, obviously frustrated.
"I'll take her to go run out some energy," Alex offered, taking Madi's other hand.
"Thank you," I said, letting out a sigh of relief. Our bags finally came and we grabbed them, going off to find Alex. We met back up with Alex and went to the bus.
"Welcome to tour, Madi!" I announced as I opened the door. She raced up the stairs and into the bus with me close behind her.
"THIS IS AWESOME!" she screamed.
"Let's go see our bunk," I chuckled, taking her hand and leading her to the bunk room. I opened the curtain and showed her the bunk we would be sharing. Since she's only 3, I felt better if we slept in the same bunk. She would be against the wall and I would lay at the opening. My hope was I would wake up if she tried to climb over me. The bunk was lower than the one I usually sleep in, being the very bottom bunk that was on the floor. At least if she tried to leave the bunk on her own, she wouldn't fall and hurt herself.

"How do I look?" I asked, squatting down so I was at Madi's level.
"Perfect!" she smiled, giving me a thumbs up.
"Thanks boss," I smiled, ruffling the strands of hair that were loose underneath her noise cancelling headphones. "You be a good girl for Alex while I'm on stage, okay?"
"Otay daddy," she smiled. I placed a kiss on her forehead and then stood up. We ran out on stage and started our show. I kept glancing over at Madi, seeing her looking at me with a big smile. During our last song, In The End, I quickly ran off stage to grab Madi. I carried her on stage and placed her down on one of the risers at the front of the stage.
"Who will remember, this last goodbye! Cause it's the end and I'm not afraid," I sang. I leaned down and held the microphone so Madi could sing into it too.
"I'm not afraid to die!" we sang, the crowd cheering as Madi's tiny voice floated through the venue. I picked Madi up and held her on my hip as I finished out the song. Madi and I took a bow before leaving the stage.
"I wuv that song," Madi giggled, clapping her hands.
I did everything I needed to do before I was able to return to the bus. I went straight to the bunks and got Madi dressed in her pajamas. She climbed into the bunk, laying next to the wall.
"I'm going to get ready for bed and then I'll join you," I told her as I closed the curtain. I grabbed a T-Shirt and a pair of shorts, getting changed into them. I said goodnight to the guys and then climbed into the bunk next to my daughter.
"Goodnight daddy," her sweet voice pierced the darkness.
"Goodnight baby," I said softly, so happy she was with me this time around.
