"Those two don't look like good people at all..." Fu Sui frowned and said to Fu Yu behind him, "Xiao Yu, you wait here. I'm going over to check it out."

Fu Yu nodded. "Brother, be careful. They might be human traffickers."

Fu Sui's eyes lit up with excitement. "If I catch them, it'll be a big achievement, right...?"

With that, he walked toward the alley where the three had disappeared.

Inside the alley, Auntie Cui and her companion saw the pretty girl leaning casually against the wall. The girl was unperturbed when she saw them approaching; instead, she smiled slightly. "Are you human traffickers?"

Auntie Cui glanced around and saw they were already at the end of the alley. Since the girl couldn't escape, she didn't bother pretending anymore. It was broad daylight, but she figured it was best to act quickly. She glared at Fu Xiao with her beady triangular eyes. "Smart girl. Since you know, come with us quietly. If you cooperate, you might avoid some pain."

She signaled her companion to move forward and grab the girl.

The middle-aged man flicked his cigarette to the ground, crushed it under his foot, and then stepped closer to Fu Xiao.

Auntie Cui turned to watch the alley entrance, keeping an eye out.

Fu Xiao observed his approach, her eyes gleaming with a hint of excitement. This was the first fight she would have in this place.

She put down the drinks she was carrying and considered whether to strike lethally or show some mercy.

Sweeping her mental energy around, she sensed something. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and she spoke softly with an edge in her tone, "Tsk... someone is here."

Seeing the middle-aged man almost upon her, she sighed inwardly at his luck. Since someone was watching, she'd let him live for now. She moved quickly.

Auntie Cui heard a loud scream from her companion and turned to see the man crumpled on the ground in a strange position, his face pale and unmoving.

Terrified, Auntie Cui looked at Fu Xiao. "What did you do to him? Who... who are you?"

She backed up until she was cornered against the wall.

With nowhere left to retreat, she watched as Fu Xiao approached, picking up a stone from the ground in desperation and hurling it at her.

Fu Xiao easily dodged, sidestepped, and grabbed her by the throat. The pressure on her soft cartilage and vocal cords prevented Auntie Cui from making a sound.

Squatting down, Fu Xiao glanced at her, her face twisted in fear. With a practiced motion, Fu Xiao snapped her wrist.

In a flat tone devoid of any emotion, she said, "I am your karma..." Then, she kicked Auntie Cui's legs, breaking them. Listening to her pained screams and seeing the pleading, terrified look in her eyes, Fu Xiao chuckled softly.

"Auntie, I hate human traffickers the most, and you walked right up to me. You're just asking for it, aren't you?"

She then took out a vial from her pocket and calmly said, "This is a good thing. You're the first to try it. Excited?"

Grabbing her by the jaw, she forced the liquid into Auntie Cui's mouth.

Auntie Cui's expression grew even more pained. Unable to speak, she just stared at Fu Xiao with wide eyes.

Ignoring her stare, Fu Xiao moved to the middle-aged man, took out another vial, and poured it into his mouth.

She stood there for a few minutes, waiting for the drug to take effect. Once it did, she checked their pulses to gauge the effects of the poison.
