Upon hearing Fu Sui's voice, she opened the door and saw him standing there holding a package.

Seeing her, he smiled and handed over the package. "These are some clothes my mom made for you."

"Hey..."

Before she could react, he pushed the package into her arms and turned around to leave.

Fu Xiao was stunned for a moment. She took the package inside and opened it to find several brightly colored long dresses. The fabric felt comfortable, and the stitching clearly showed that they were hand-sewn, without a sewing machine.

On the bed, there were exactly four sets of dresses laid out. She looked at them for a while, then folded the clothes and put them into the wardrobe beside her.

The officer hesitated, wanting to say more, but Lu Jianguo's expression darkened, and his voice carried a hint of coldness. "Do you know that the crimes they've confessed to are already punishable by death?"

"During the interrogation, your team leader even wanted to beat them up, but because we are public officials, we can't do that."

"So?"

"Just because they scream a few times, you're so kind-hearted that you want to send them to the hospital?"

Seeing the officer blush and lower his head, Lu Jianguo said indifferently, "They've done too many evil deeds. Consider this their retribution. Just keep them locked up, and when the time comes, send them on their way."

The officer returned to his post, and no matter how miserably the people inside cried, he never went in to check again.
