Upon hearing Fu Sui's voice, she opened the door and saw him standing there holding a package.

Seeing her, he smiled and handed over the package. "These are some clothes my mom made for you."

"Hey..."

Before she could react, he pushed the package into her arms and turned around to leave.

Fu Xiao was stunned for a moment. She took the package inside and opened it to find several brightly colored long dresses. The fabric felt comfortable, and the stitching clearly showed that they were hand-sewn, without a sewing machine.

On the bed, there were exactly four sets of dresses laid out. She looked at them for a while, then folded the clothes and put them into the wardrobe beside her.

Maybe she would take a closer look when there was a chance to meet. She didn't know how to face a new emotion. She always believed that only what she personally experienced was real; what others said was just an illusion.

As for Fu Sui and Fu Yu, so far, she found them somewhat agreeable. As for feelings, she decided to take it slow.

After locking the door, she entered her space, sorted through the effects of the poisons she used today, and recorded them. The poison used on the two human traffickers was still one of those she made last time, called "Shattered."

A beautiful name, but what does it do?

It was likely that those two test subjects were not having a good time right now.

After organizing the poisons, she went to the bathroom, watched as the housekeeper robot filled the bathtub with spiritual spring water, undressed, and lay in.

She had a feeling that after tonight, her mental power might break through to the second level.

At the police station.

A police officer entered the office of the chief, Lu Jianguo, and said a few words to him.

Lu Jianguo replied calmly, "The traffickers don't have any real injuries; it's just broken limbs..."

Police officer: "But they seem to be in a lot of pain. They keep saying someone fed them poison, claiming something shattered inside their stomachs and that they need to go to the hospital."

Lu Jianguo looked up at him and said lightly, "The criminals might be planning to escape while in the hospital. Ignore them."

The officer hesitated, wanting to say more, but Lu Jianguo's expression darkened, and his voice carried a hint of coldness. "Do you know that the crimes they've confessed to are already punishable by death?"

"During the interrogation, your team leader even wanted to beat them up, but because we are public officials, we can't do that."

"So?"

"Just because they scream a few times, you're so kind-hearted that you want to send them to the hospital?"

Seeing the officer blush and lower his head, Lu Jianguo said indifferently, "They've done too many evil deeds. Consider this their retribution. Just keep them locked up, and when the time comes, send them on their way."

The officer returned to his post, and no matter how miserably the people inside cried, he never went in to check again.

Those who commit many evil deeds will always face retribution waiting for them in the future.
