The group soon arrived at the county committee dormitory.

Fu Yu greeted the gatekeeper, Grandpa Wang, politely before leading the others upstairs.

When the door was knocked, Fu Xiao was chatting with Fu Hong. Hearing the knock, Fu Hong went to answer it.

Upon opening the door and seeing the visitors, Fu Hong joyfully hugged Fu Sui. "Haha, you're here! I missed you so much..."

Fu Sui laughed heartily and interacted with him, casting a glance at Fu Yu, as if to say, "See, this is the proper way to reconnect after years apart."

Fu Yu ignored him, leading Fu Yu into the room.

Seeing Fu Xiao inside, Fu Yu was momentarily stunned. He hadn't expected the person his brother had saved to be here.

Just then, Fu Sui entered and looked surprised to see her as well.

Fu Xiao looked at the young man before her with a raised eyebrow. Was this the person who had caused trouble for her Third uncle?

She silently criticized him in her mind but maintained a calm demeanor.

"Xiao Xiao, come and meet your Third Brother," Fu Yu said, pointing to Fu Sui. He then turned to Fu Yu. "You two seem about the same age. This is Fu Yu."

He then introduced Fu Xiao. "This is my sister."

Fu Sui sized up Fu Xiao, his eyes thoughtful and somewhat wary. He remembered her lethal moves in the alley; this seemingly delicate sister of his was not to be underestimated.

He smiled and extended his hand to Fu Xiao. "Hello, sister."

Fu Xiao shook his hand and greeted him politely. "Hello, Third Brother."

She then smiled sweetly and shook Fu Yu's hand. "Can I call you Xiao Yu?"

Fu Yu nodded with a smile.

Fu Sui: ...

He observed the sudden change in Fu Xiao's demeanor—from a fierce fighter to a demure girl. It was quite amusing and fitting for his sister.

After some casual conversation among the siblings, Fu Xiao listened quietly, occasionally nodding in agreement.

Fu Sui then looked at her and said with a smile, "Sister, your medicine is very effective. You must be quite skilled in medicine?"

Fu Xiao smiled faintly. "It's okay."

She then turned to Fu Yu. "Xiao Yu, extend your hand. I'll take your pulse."

Fu Sui chuckled softly. His sister was impressive; she knew what he needed without him saying a word.

Fu Yu extended his left hand, and Fu Xiao placed her fingers on his wrist, feeling his pulse. The room was quiet as everyone watched her intently.

After a few minutes, she withdrew her fingers. Fu Sui, anxious, asked, "How is he?"

Seeing his concern, Fu Xiao smiled. "He's fine, just a bit weak. I'll help him regain his strength when we get home."

Everyone smiled.

"But..."

Fu Sui's face immediately changed. "What's wrong?"

Fu Xiao's calm gaze met his. "Xiao Yu should start exercising."

Her gaze lingered on Fu Yu's wrist, which seemed thinner and weaker than her own.

Fu Sui sighed in relief. "Exercise is fine. I'll supervise."
