By the time Fu Yu and his siblings left the cinema, it was already around two in the afternoon. Although it was a new release, the movie was quite similar to the ones they had seen before.

The movie they had seen before was called Underground Warfare, and today's film was called Landmine Warfare.

Indeed, it was a new film.

At the cinema entrance, Fu Xiao looked at her older brother and asked, "Big Brother, are we going back to the village?"

Fu Yu waited at the entrance for them.

After Fu Hong searched thoroughly but found nothing he wanted, he came out and patted Fu Yu on the shoulder. "Big Brother, what are you thinking about?"

"Nothing," Fu Yu said, noticing that Fu Hong's hands were empty. "Didn't find any books you wanted?"

Fu Hong shrugged, "I've read all the children's books here. Nothing new."

"Big Brother, are you worried about Third Uncle?"

"No," Fu Yu replied.

Fu Hong made a face, "I wonder what the Shen family wants from Third Uncle."

At this moment, Fu Xiao came out with the books she wanted, having paid for them. She saw her two brothers in deep thought.

"Brother..."

"Got the books?" Fu Yu turned around, taking the books from her hands. "Let's head back to the dormitory."

The three of them went straight back to the county committee dormitory.

For dinner, Fu Yu brought food back from the state-run restaurant. Fu Xiao and Fu Hong stayed in the dormitory, reading their books and did not go out.

After finishing his official duties, Fu Weilin arrived at the guesthouse where Shen Ruofeng is staying. He knocked on their door, and Shen Ruoyi opened it with a smile, saying, "Lun Ge, have you finished your work?"

Fu Weilin smiled and replied, "Yes, I'm done. Let me take you and Xingzhou out for a meal."

Shen Ruofeng glanced at the room with some hesitation, "Lun Ge, Xingzhou is still sleeping. It would be a hassle for you."

"Let him sleep," Fu Weilin raised an eyebrow, "Let's have a drink, and I'll bring something for him when we come back."

"Alright, Lun Ge. Give me a moment to change my clothes. Please come in and wait," Shen Ruofeng said as she opened the door wider.

"I'll stay outside so I don't wake him. I'll just smoke a cigarette," Fu Weilin said, pulling out a cigarette and showing it to Shen Ruofeng before heading downstairs.

After a few puffs, Shen Ruofeng came down, and Fu Weilin took him to a private restaurant where they were greeted by familiar faces.

They ordered two meat dishes, two vegetarian dishes, and peanuts to accompany their drinks. While they drank and chatted, most of the conversation was about work.
