Teacher Li, naturally, knew the two brothers. Fu Yue had previously attended middle school here, and Fu Hong was currently his math teacher. Seeing the three of them talking, he approached with a smile, "Fu Yue, you've already graduated, right?"

Fu Yue nodded politely, "Hello, Teacher Li. I should be getting my high school diploma soon."

"That's great. Have you sorted out your job situation?"

"Yes, it's all taken care of," Fu Yue responded.

Teacher Li nodded approvingly, his face beaming with satisfaction. Fu Yue had been a good student, and even after graduation, he still remembered him fondly.

Turning his attention to Fu Xiao, Teacher Li's smile grew wider. "Fu Yue, is this your sister? Just like you, she's very smart. Both of her papers are full marks."

Upon hearing this, Fu Yue's face beamed with pride. He was even happier than if the praise had been for himself.

Teacher Li then looked at Fu Hong, who was trying to blend into the background. "Fu Hong, if your sister comes to study here, you'll need to set a good example for her."

Although Fu Hong was smart, he liked to talk in class and wasn't as obedient as Fu Yue. He had a sheepish grin on his face as he replied, "Don't worry, Teacher, I'll definitely set a good example for my sister."

After some casual conversation, the door to the meeting room finally opened. Principal Wen emerged with a smiling face, chatting with Fu Weilun as he walked out.

Seeing Teacher Li, Principal Wen greeted him, "Teacher Li, how did the student's papers go?"

Principal Wen gave Teacher Li a knowing glance, perhaps indicating that he hoped the results wouldn't embarrass Fu Weilun.

Teacher Li, seemingly ignoring the look, responded cheerfully, "Principal, this child is very smart. The papers for the first-year middle school subjects, both language and math, scored full marks."

"Really?" Principal Wen looked delighted as he glanced at the papers, noting the neat handwriting and the prominent scores of 100.

He looked at Fu Xiao and then at Fu Weilun, praising him with a smile, "Secretary, your children are indeed talented. Did this child learn the first-year curriculum at home?"

Fu Weilun smiled, "She studied the textbook at home. Principal Wen, do you think she could directly start in the second year?"

Principal Wen nodded vigorously, "Yes, this child has clearly mastered the first-year curriculum, or she wouldn't have scored full marks. She can join the second-year class when it starts."

"Thank you, Principal Wen."

Fu Weilun then abruptly shifted the topic, "Principal Wen, about the new primary school, could you help with the application? The county will start building it soon. As for the teachers..."

Principal Wen adjusted his glasses and suggested, "Secretary, I recommend we conduct a unified examination to select teachers. Many of the intellectual youths in the villages, though not fit for farming, are highly educated and should be capable of teaching."

Fu Weilun nodded, "We'll count on you for that, Principal Wen."

"Secretary, you're too polite. It's all in a day's work. Improving education in the countryside will help nurture talent for the country," Principal Wen responded.

With the discussions concluded, Fu Weilun led everyone out of the school. It was noon by then, so they headed directly to Uncle Zhao's place for lunch, where they ordered braised pork and noodles.
