Y/N's P.O.V
Kuvira and I have just finished our sweep of the surrounding area.
We're clear, at least for now. We've decided to contact Suyin for help.
She and I get back into the jeep.
Y/N: Are you sure you want to talk to Suyin? I mean the last time you did, it didn't go well.
Kuvira: Yes. I need to do this, Y/N.
I sigh.
Y/N: Okay, fine.
I hand her the radio.
She uses the radio to contact Su at Zaofu.
Kuvira: Su, are you there? It's Kuvira.
Suyin: Kuvira? What's going on? Asami said she and the other's were bringing you to Zaofu. Where are you?
Kuvira: Still in Gaoling. We never left.
Suyin: What did you do to Y/N, Asami and the other's?
Kuvira: Nothing! I'm here with Y/N.
Suyin: I don't believe you.
Kuvira hands me the radio.
Y/N: She's telling the truth, Su. I'm here.
Suyin: Oh, Y/N. Are you okay?
Y/N: Yes, I'm okay. Kuvira and I are... working together. I'll let her explain.
I hand the radio back to her.
Kuvira: Commander Guan and his rebels attacked the airship before we got off the ground and took us captive. Asami, Bolin and Mako have been brainwashed. Y/N and I managed to escaped, but...
Suyin: Brainwashed? You expect me to believe that.
Kuvira: It's true.
She looks to me.
Kuvira: Y/N?
I take the radio back.
Y/N: She's telling the truth again, Su. It's crazy. They're completely under Guan's control. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself.
Suyin: And where's Korra?
Y/N: She and King Wu are off trying to find your mother. It's just Kuvira and I out here.
Kuvira takes the radio back again.
Kuvira: Su, I know you have every reason to hate me, but I didn't know who else to turn to.
She sighs.
Kuvira: Please, I... we need your help.
(The next day)
Third person perspective
Korra is now on her way back to the airship.
She has Wu, Toph and she's just found Pabu.
The Avatar looks up ahead to see a jeep.
Korra: Uh oh... we got trouble.
She gets off of Naga.
Korra: Wu, stay with Toph, I might need some back-up.
The jeep stops and she sees an Earth Empire soldier.
???: You need to follow me.
Korra: I'm not going anywhere with one of Guan's lackeys.
???: I'm no lackey.
She takes his helmet to reveal Kuvira with no Y/N.
Korra: Kuvira?! Where are Y/N, Asami, Mako and Bolin?
Kuvira: I'll explain everything, but we need to get off the road before someone spots us. Guan's at the airfield waiting to ambush you and...
The Avatar uses Firebending to wrap a ring of fire around Kuvira.
Korra: If you've hurt my husband and friends, I'll kill you!
Kuvira: I didn't harm them, I swear!
Korra: So, where are they? And why are you wearing that uniform?
???: I can explain that.
They all turn to see Y/N.
Y/N's P.O.V
I step forward as Korra comes over to me.
Korra: Y/N?
Y/N: Yeah. I'm okay.
She runs over and jumps into my arms.
Korra: I thought she had done something to you.
Y/N: I'm okay, I promise.
After that we explain what happened to the other's with the brainwashing thing.
Wu: But why weren't you two together, Y/N?
Y/N: I was looking for you in the city, while Kuvira was searching these roads.
Toph: I gotta say, I knew there was something fishy about how Guan's supporters kept mindlessly repeating the same slogan over and over. It's like Long Feng all over again.
Y/N & Korra: Who?
Wu: Long Feng served Earth King Kuei, my great-great grandfather. He and the Dai Li manipulated the King so they could control Ba Sing Se.
Toph: You know your history, kid. Just be glad you didn't live though it. This brainwashing business is no joke.
Y/N: Yeah, I gathered that much. As soon as he had Asami, Mako and Bolin under his control he ordered them to attack us. They did it without even blinking.
Kuvira: He's right. Their minds are no longer their own.
Wu: So, what happens now?
Y/N: Well, we called Suyin I'm Zaofu and she should be here soon. Right now we need to focus on protecting Wu.
Korra: I agree. We'll figure out a way to save Asami, Mako and Bolin. But for now we protect Wu. Where are we suppose to be meeting Su?
Kuvira: Further up the road that way. I can lead you there.
Toph: Then let's go already.
I go over to the jeep and get in it with Kuvira.
She may have helped me, but it doesn't mean I fully trust her.
Korra, Wu and Toph get on Naga and follow us.
We need to get to the coordinates and meet with Su.
