A/N- Sorry... 😢
Roger learned last time places to avoid that would send Siobhan to the hospital. He did some research to avoid situations where his abuse would be discovered. Of course, it couldn't appear anything bad had happened over the weekend, so Roger made Siobhan get ready for work this morning. She was always at the nursery on Mondays.
Roger dropped Siobhan off at the nursery. She took a deep breath, reigned in her thoughts and walked in. Marjorie rushed to her as soon as she entered the office. She tried to get in touch with her all weekend, but the attempts failed.
"I'm so glad you're okay Siobhan! I have been so worried about you!"
"Don't be so dramatic Marjorie. I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
Marjorie is baffled at the response and her face turns red in anger. She couldn't. Believe the way Siobhan was acting and all she was trying to do was show that she cared!
I have to stay quiet. If I allow myself to entertain her concerns, I will tell her too much. I have to shut Marjorie out. I have to shut everyone out, for their safety. I have to shut Vivian out too.
As Siobhan thinks about shutting Vivian out, it feels like her heart is ripping in two. She knows that the way she has to treat Vivian will hurt her. She knows Roger is going to get his spies to try to figure out which parent I was with and ensure I have no contact. I don't even want them to find out who. I have to be cold, brutal even.
Vivian arrives to drop off Jamie. With optimism, she brings in her coffee along with Siobhan's black americano. She walks down to the preschool room to leave Jamie with Charlotte. She walks into the office to see if Siobhan is there. Relief washes over her when she sees Siobhan. Vivian walks over with a look of concern and hands the blonde her coffee. Siobhan twists her face in disgust, letting out a loud sigh, as she tosses the coffee in the bin.
My heart is shattering, but I know this is what's best for Vivian's safety. I would rather her hate me than be a victim of Roger's.
Vivian's face is overtaken by shock and pain. Tears well up in her eyes as she tries to hold them back. Siobhan looks at her coldly, "Black americanos don't do it for me anymore. Also, you are going to have to meet with Marjorie from now on regarding any questions you have." Vivian's face flushes while it seems her legs can barely hold her up. "Siobhan, why are you doing this? What did I do? I can fix it!" Siobhan narrows her eyes at Vivian, "Leave, leave me alone." Vivian leaves the office, her body projecting defeat. As she opens the door, she takes one more look at Siobhan. Siobhan huffs and rolls her eyes. Marjorie is sitting at her desk, gasps loudly, pulls her hands up covering her mouth as tears form.
Did I really have to be that cruel? I crushed Vivian's heart. I just want her to be safe and this is the only way I know how.
I am devastated! The way I feel for Siobhan and the way I know she feels about me, it's real! What has happened to make her be so cruel? Roger?
Marjorie is frozen, staring at Siobhan. "What was that?! Why would y—" Siobhan puts her hand up, palm towards Marjorie, "Save it, Marjorie. It has nothing to do with you." Marjorie shivers with worry for Siobhan, given what she witnessed Friday.
At lunch time, Roger picks Siobhan up. Once Siobhan is gone, Marjorie gets Jodie to cover Charlotte in the preschool room. She pulls Charlotte out to the car park to sit with her in her car. "Charlotte, there is something terribly wrong with Siobhan!" Charlotte looks confused, "Why would you say that?" Marjorie tells her how cold she was to her and cruel she was to Vivian. Charlotte's mouth dropped open as her eyes widened. "Marjorie, honestly, I thought there was some romance going on with her and Vivian. I can't believe she would treat her like that! I wonder what could be going on. You should talk to Reece tonight."
