Officers rush towards the forest where Vivian's location pinged when they traced the call earlier. They didn't know exactly where they were headed, but there were only two cabins in the area. Two teams entered the woods splitting up running towards the cabins. Vivian didn't want officials there— she wanted Chris dead, but now there is a possibility he would be taken into custody. His lawyers got him off on the charges filed against him for the abuse he inflicted on Vivian. She really didn't want him to have the opportunity to avoid the consequences of his actions again.
As Vivian and Beckett approached the cabin, she heard a familiar sound that instantly made her feel ill. The cracking sound of the leather whip hitting Siobhan's skin. She has been through his torture pattern a few times before and knew what he had already put Siobhan through. Beckett snuck to the window peering in and saw the horrific scene— anger completely engulfed him. Vivian leaned on a pole below the deck as she succumbed to the nausea— she wretched violently as she puked.
When she finished, she caught eye contact with her dad and she motioned towards the basement entrance. He shook his head not wanting his daughter putting herself in danger, but she turned red in frustration before darting through the door.
Damn it, Vivian. I can't blame her— she knows the pain all too well of what Siobhan has endured. She just wants to stop it...
The 6'5'' man quickly enters behind his daughter looking at her with a silent protest that she wasn't following his direction. The two tiptoed up the stairs not alerting Chris that they had even made it to the cabin. Vivian was grateful that Chris seemed to have never broken his bad habit of leaving doors open and unlocked— it turned out to be a huge advantage in this situation. As they snuck up to the room where Chris was hurting Siobhan, the blonde caught a glimpse of movement.
Am I losing my mind? I swear I just saw Viv cross the room to hide behind the door frame... I can't tell the difference between reality and my imagination anymore...
Chris stopped the electrocution due to Siobhan passing out— unconscious people don't feel pain. However he left the supplies readily available and Beckett took note. The duo caught each other's eyes as they seemed to communicate perfectly without any words. Vivian stepped into the room immediately grabbing Chris' attention. "Chris, stop! You want me... let her go..." His face lit with excitement— this is what he was waiting for. Siobhan's voice tired and weak, "Viv, please— don't. It's okay— I'm okay."
Vivian felt her heart twist in her chest at her fiancés request. Out of the corner of her eye she saw her dad take action. She averted her eyes keeping the attention on her as her dad flipped the power switch before charging and forced the cables to Chris' side and back. He jerked violently on the floor as Vivian ran to Siobhan freeing her from the chains. There was zero strength left in the blonde's body and she collapsed into Vivian as they both fell to the floor.
Siobhan's eyes filled with tears, "I knew you were coming. I held on— he didn't get what he wanted..." Vivian held Siobhan scanning her eyes across her body assessing the injuries. "Baby, I'm so sorry I didn't get here sooner... I'm so sorry..." The brunette's voice laced with guilt and relief to finally have her love in her arms. The blonde fixed her eyes on Vivian's ocean blue eyes as she whispered softly, "Please kiss me... I need to truly feel that you're real." She lowered herself towards her fiancé gently ghosting her lips before pressing a kiss filled with every emotion that couldn't be expressed with words. Siobhan broke down as the tension finally was released from her body. Her trembling voice whispered, "It's you... It's really you!"
The two women are ripped from their tender moment as they hear the tussling of the men behind them. Chris had broken free from the cables and was scrambling towards his gun. Beckett pulled him down swinging his fist uncontrollably landing several punches to Chris' face. The younger man reaches his gun and points it at Beckett before the older man grabs his arm to wrestle it away from him.
Suddenly a gunshot rings loudly through the cabin causing ringing in the women's ears as they watch both men fall to the floor. Vivian's scream muffled by the shock and uncertainty of what just happened.
