A/N- I'm struggling with this story some... hope it's still enjoyable 🥴
The next morning Vivian wakes up cuddled up to Siobhan. She quickly reaches to turn her alarm off so the blonde doesn't wake up. "Viv?" Vivian scrunches her face closing her eyes, "Bon it's okay. Go back to sleep." Siobhan lets out a soft grunt as she pulls the covers over her shoulders and turns over.
I love this woman! She has been through so much lately and finally an end seems in reach. She really needs her rest.
Vivian jumps in the shower and then gets dressed for work. As she is brushing her teeth, she looks in the mirror at herself. "Who is this person?" She thinks to herself. "It's almost like joy has been written across my face. I'm happy... I haven't seen this reflection in so long."
She walks back into the bedroom just to get one more look at her Bon Bon. She tiptoes to the side of the bed and gently kisses Siobhan on the cheek before heading downstairs. Vivian quickly makes a cup of coffee and some toast and heads out the door.
A couple hours later Siobhan wakes up and pouts when she remembers that Vivian had to go back to work today. She lays in bed for a few minutes before getting up and moving straight to the coffee pot.
The sweet aroma of the coffee fills the kitchen. Siobhan closes her eyes and breaths in deeply. Since she started having meetings with Vivian, the smell of coffee always made her think of the brunette.
She is violently pulled out of her thoughts as she hears a knock at the door. Her eyes shoot open rapidly as her heart races.
What the hell? I wasn't expecting anyone and Vivian didn't say anybody was supposed to come by... what's going on? Should I answer the door? Do I hide and stay silent?
Siobhan cautiously walks towards the door. Her hands shake as she tries to see who it is through the window near the door. Her eyes widen in shock when the person comes into view. A quiet gasp makes her ears ring as anxiety creeps in. Another knock at the door reaches her ears as her senses return to her.
She walks slowly to the door only cracking the door open. "Hi Siobhan, it's okay I just wanted to talk to you." She backs up from the door slightly and opens it further.
"Bennie?! What are you doing here? How did you know where I was?" The man smirks, "I know a lot of things Siobhan. I just wanted to pay you a visit to thank you for your help. Roger has been... taken care of." He flashes a wink at her and continues. "I wanted to offer you something for your service... If I remember from the last time Roger brought you on a run, you were wanting something to help you relax." There is a shift in his demeanor that seems unsettling.
When he mentions 'something to relax', an urge punches me in the gut. I had almost been running off pure adrenaline the last couple days. In the hospital, I was given pain medicine for treatment. I mean I thought about it, but it was faded in the back of my mind. Now... I'm almost drooling for that feeling. What do I do?
"You have been through a lot Siobhan. I wish I had realized what Roger was doing to you. I could have helped you sooner." His voice dipping to a convincing tone. "Here... something to help you relax after everything you've been through."
His smirk widened as he pulled a crinkling bag from his pocket. Siobhan's stomach churned at the sight, her palms clammy. "Go on," his voice dipped lower, almost coaxing. "You've earned it." The air between them felt heavy, charged with unspoken expectation. She hated that her hands itched to reach out.
"Thank you Bennie. I appreciate your... thoughtfulness." He turns to leave, "Oh and if you ever need anything else, you know how to find me." A smile spreads across his face as Siobhan begins to close the door.
