Chapter 72: The Little Mermaid

After several minutes Siobhan felt Vivian's body melt into her. The brunette inhaled sharply before exhaling an almost relieved sigh. "Okay Bon... Let's get this movieathon started with little man." They pulled away from each other locking eyes as Vivian leaned in to kiss Siobhan once more softly on her lips. Every time their lips met she felt nothing but love and safety. It was like they were each other's anchor— a steady shelter in every storm.

Siobhan leaned her forehead against Vivian's, "I love you so much Vivian Lee Rhea Clark." Vivian chuckles hearing her love fully name her. "Careful, Siobhan Yvette Serpent. You know what that does to me." She smiles as she winks at the blonde. Siobhan giggles knowing full well what she was doing, but the moment before was heavy and dark, neither woman wanted to remain in that headspace.

Siobhan plated up all their food as Vivian went into the living room to search for the movie Jamie decided to watch first. Once she selected it, she picked up her phone to message Mia.

To Mia:
Hey, Jamie is home!!

From Mia:
Hey, Viv! I'm so glad to hear that he is home!! How are you doing?

To Mia:
I'm... well... Chris left a letter for me at the hospital. Could you possibly come over later so we can talk? The picture attached is the letter... Please don't tell Charlotte. I don't want Bon to know what it says...

Siobhan entered the living room with everyone's food, "Are we ready for the best movieathon ever?" Jamie's smile spread rapidly across his face as he jumped around the two women saying "Yes, yes, yes!" Laughter filled the room wrapping around the two women like a warm blanket. They started the movie and both looked over at Jamie already enthusiastically staring at the TV. As he noticed he was being stared at, the boy looked at them, his eyes soft, "Mommy, Bonnie— I love you." The women's hearts melted as they in unison replied, "We love you Jamie..." They leaned in to hug him then settled to eat and enjoy the movie.

It's nice to be a part of a family. My parents were always so distant when I was growing up. I didn't know it could be like this, but I'm so grateful to experience it now— with my forever love. Viv and Jamie mean everything to me...

Once the women finished their meals, Vivian scooted back against the couch as Siobhan laid her head on her chest. Vivian ran her fingers through Bon's hair kissing her forehead. Jamie looked back seeing them cuddled up and wanted to join. He plopped himself on Vivian's lap and rested his head on Siobhan's side. The ping from Vivian's phone barely noticeable with the movie playing. She pulls it close to her face trying not to disturb Siobhan and Jamie.

From Mia:
I'll be over later... Are you sure you want to keep this from Siobhan? This situation seems to be getting dangerous— quickly! I'm really worried, Viv...

To Mia:
I'm worried too— he left something for me here too... I don't want Bon knowing he is threatening her— she's been through enough...

From Mia:
Well it's your choice and I will respect that— you know that Viv. Doesn't mean I have to like it... Shibby messaged Charlotte earlier— we will both be over later.

Vivian puts her phone to the side enjoying the warmth of Siobhan and Jamie surrounding her. These moments were so special to Vivian. She glanced down at Siobhan and Jamie, both lost in the movie. Jamie's arms were resting over his head as he laid on Siobhan. He rubbed his feet back and forth across the carpet. Siobhan's head nuzzled close to her neck with her hand resting on her chest. Every so often Siobhan would trace little designs across her chest and press a light kiss to her skin. Her heart swelled as love overflowed and her eyes stung with unshed tears.
