Finally, Beckett was brought back to his hospital room and Athena was escorted back to his room. As he laid eyes on his feisty redhead, his eyes almost burst out of their sockets as he blurted, "Nurse, please stay and protect me!" The young nurse looked at Athena puzzled, "Oh, don't mind him," she said. "He ran off to confront my daughter's psychotic ex-husband without the authorities. And he didn't even call me!" She narrowed her eyes, turning her head towards her husband. The nurse flung her hands in the air darting her eyes wildly back and forth with a nervous chuckle, "You are on your own Mr. Clark..."

Athena walked slowly to the side of the bed giving her husband a look he knew very well. He explained quickly, "Baby, I'm sorry! I didn't want you to worry. Vivian was determined to save Siobhan. I couldn't let her go alone!" The woman couldn't help but melt at his response. One of his best qualities was how much he loved their daughter. His redhead traced softly down his cheek with her hand while she leaned in to kiss him. "Oh, how I love you, Beck..." Athena carefully climbed into the hospital bed with her husband, "You will make it up to me with some cuddles." The two smiled lovingly at each other before Athena settled her head against his chest.

Down the hall from Beckett and Athena, Vivian and Siobhan where cuddled up. Vivian traced soft patterns across Siobhan's arm while Siobhan drew intricate designs across Vivian's chest. The blonde watched intently as the brunette's chest rose with each breath, regulating her own breathing. Charlotte was sitting in the chair next to the bed making light conversation. However, her mind was elsewhere, the precious moment she walked in on. The thoughtful friend began to think how they could pull together a wedding— even maybe before Siobhan was discharged from the hospital.

Out in the waiting room, Mia called all her contacts looking for people to come donate O negative blood. Tabby had walked back out to the waiting room telling Mia that even with the transfusions it seemed Siobhan was still losing blood. They would have to do a surgery to find the bleeding and stop it. "Mia, if we can't get more blood for Siobhan and something goes wrong in surgery it could get really serious quick." The concerned friend asked tone heavy with anxiety, "What about other hospitals? Do they have any?" Tabby lowered her eyes to the floor, "We were able to find a couple units, but it's not enough... Just keep working on getting some people here" Mia nodded with a mix of anxiety, anger and determination.

Mia looked at the next contact in her phone, rolling her eyes and huffing in pure annoyance. It rang twice before she heard a flat tone, "Mia..." The redhead smirks a little satisfied in how she could hear the frustration in the woman's voice, "Marjorie..." she said mimicking the same tone. They both sat in silence for a moment before Mia started talking again, "Look, I know it's getting late, but Siobhan is in pretty serious condition. She is stable, but she is losing blood. She's O-negative and the hospital doesn't have enough..." Marjorie interrupted Mia as she blurted over her, "I'm O-negative... I'm on my way. I know people that are O-negative and I'll call them too! Us O-negatives have to stick together..."

An hour later Marjorie walks through the entrance with a huge group of people. Mia stands and walks over to Marjorie looking slightly puzzled, "It's not a party, Marjorie." The woman sighs exasperatedly, flinging her arms to her side with a smack. "I know that Mia! These are the donors! One of the perks of being a Van Gould... my step dad found all the people with O-negative in the area," she held her hands high curving her fingers into air quotes, "just in case..." Before Mia realized it she laughed and Marjorie folded her arms in front of her, "You owe me for this— big time!"

The redhead approached the receptionist to ask her to inform Tabby that we had some donors for Siobhan. As the nurse burst through the double doors, she stopped in her tracks seeing the group of people standing with Mia. A smile pulled at her cheeks as she whispered, "all these people are here to donate? This is wonderful! Mia, do you want to go tell Viv and Shibs the news?" The redhead's eyes brightened, she really wanted to see her friends and check on them.

Mia sneaks to Siobhan's room listening to the calm conversation as she silently leans against the doorframe. Her eyes bug out as she hears Siobhan describe her dream wedding dress to Charlotte. She couldn't stay silent any longer, "What in the hell have I missed?" She says pushing herself off the frame and strutting towards the others. Charlotte giggles at her love's reaction to the moment. Vivian pipes up, "Well... you missed me telling Siobhan I needed her to be my wife, now— I can't wait anymore!" Mia felt her heart soften along with her facial expression blown away by the love Vivian and Siobhan shared. She smiled as she spoke calmly, "I have some good news. Marjorie, of all people," she scoffed as she rolled her eyes dramatically, "came through with a posse of O-negative donors. Shibby here will have access to all the blood she needs..."
